I made a reservation at the Great Southern Hotel in Melbourne through your app. The room rate displayed was $[redacted].22, which I paid for using my credit card. Upon reviewing my bank statement, I noticed that I was actually charged $[redacted].26. I reached out to the hotel via email to inquire about the discrepancy. Their response mentioned that the $[redacted].22 was likely in U.S. dollars. I feel that the lack of currency indication while browsing through hotel options can be misleading to customers like me who assume prices are in Australian dollars. This situation does not seem fair and appears deceptive. I intend to report this issue to the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission for further investigation. Hello, I'm Urvish Patel and I had reserved a Grand Water Villa at Olhuveli Beach & Spa Maldives for April 21st to 23rd (Booking ID:[redacted]26). I've made the payment and received confirmation. Unfortunately, Olhuveli contacted me with news that the Grand Water Villas will not be available as planned due to ongoing work. They offered an upgrade to a "Sunset Jacuzzi Water Villa" with no extra charge. I'm concerned and seeking confirmation of the upgrade without additional fees before my vacation. The lack of detailed confirmation and ongoing management issues worry me, and I want to ensure everything is in order before my arrival. I am having trouble receiving a refund from Agoda for Booking ID [redacted]00 for a stay on February 5, [redacted]. Upon arrival, the hotel was fully booked and apparently had no partnership with Agoda for years. After multiple communications, Agoda assured both the hotel owner and me a refund with a compensation for the inconvenience. However, the process has been frustrating with endless email exchanges. Agoda insists on replying from the same email used for my profile, making it difficult as my outgoing emails go through iCloud. I have tried replying twice from my Alutech webmail, but the issue persists. Despite providing my phone number twice, Agoda claims to have tried calling me unsuccessfully, even though I did not miss any calls. The situation seems absurd and incredibly frustrating.

Hello, I am having trouble reaching you as I cannot locate a confirmation PIN in either the email from you with the booking receipt or from the hotel itself. The Booking ID was [redacted]19, Booking Reference [redacted]. The canceled booking was for March 15th-22nd, [redacted], at Hotel Olivar, advertised as Cordoba. My member number is [redacted]5. I would like clarification on the charges or refunds involved. The hotel insists I need to pay the full amount, but the booking terms indicate paying either the first night if canceled in advance or 15% of the total amount. Booking ID # [redacted]88 Upon my arrival at the Istanköy Hotel in Bodrum on March 19th, [redacted], at 9pm, I encountered a troubling situation. Despite paying [redacted] Lira for my room, there was no hot water available when I attempted to shower at 4am. Upon informing the Reception, I was shocked to learn that the hotel was aware of this issue yet still assigned the room to me. This lack of hot water was completely unacceptable, and I am requesting a full refund for this inconvenience. I have already been in touch with the hotel, and the manager has agreed to reimburse me. The first night was difficult; they offered an unsuitable room at a different location with only one bed for three adults. After refusing, they arranged a room with two beds at another hotel. The following day, we were finally given a room at the original hotel, but there was no hot water. Despite contacting Eduardo multiple times, the issue was not resolved. The service was poor, with no real assistance, and our continuous hot water problem was never fixed. The lack of concern for guest comfort was evident throughout our stay. We strongly advise against staying here and request a full refund due to the dreadful experience and dishonest treatment we received.

Hello Agoda, I recently had a booking with the ID [redacted]17 that was cancelled last minute by the host. We were unexpectedly informed at the location that the room we booked was under renovation and were asked to move to a distant location without prior notice. Despite our attempts to contact the host through call and WhatsApp, she did not respond even though she was online. Consequently, we had to find an alternative stay, and she mentioned that Agoda would provide a refund. This experience has left us feeling very disappointed, especially since it was our first time booking with Agoda Homes. We are hopeful that a refund can be processed promptly, and we suggest improving the arrangement of bookings in the future to avoid similar situations.

Dear Agoda Customer Service, I'm unsure if my email from last night was received. I reached out after learning my sister was charged for a stay at Guijo Suites from February 15-19, under Booking ID [redacted]20. I've discovered this booking went through, however, on November 13, I initially booked two hotels, one in Boracay (Booking ID [redacted]24) and one in Manila at Guijo Suites. Due to a connection issue during booking, I rebooked at Solace Hotel for the same dates with Booking ID [redacted]68. Traveling with my elderly parents, I missed the Guijo booking. If noticed earlier, I would have canceled it. Despite calling numerous times last night, I was unable to reach your hotline as the booking date had passed. On March 18th, I used my prepaid Green Dot MasterCard to book a room at the Extended Stay in Sacramento Roseville, CA. Unfortunately, upon check-in, I was informed that they were unable to process my card as it was temporary and did not have my name on it. After speaking with Agota and the motel multiple times, the verification process seemed to be stuck. The motel finally confirmed the necessary information over the phone, but Agota requested it in an email. Despite the motel sending the email, the verification process has been dragging on for four days without a resolution. Agota promised a refund once they verified the details with the motel. The motel assured me that they have provided all the required information. I am eager to resolve this issue promptly and appreciate your assistance in this matter.

I have a $50 voucher from my bank in Singapore that I couldn't use during checkout. I was in London from March 20-22. Despite trying to make two separate hotel bookings, I couldn't find a space to enter the voucher on both the mobile app and desktop website. The voucher is expiring on March 31, [redacted], Singapore time (GMT+8). My bank advised me to contact Agoda, but I haven't been able to reach a customer service representative to address my issue. I kindly request that the necessary adjustments be made to my payment booking so that I can utilize the $50 voucher before it expires.

I recently made an apartment booking through Agoda but mistakenly entered the wrong dates and am now unable to travel. I understand that according to the booking terms, refunds are not guaranteed, and this mistake is mine to own. To whom it may concern, Despite months of communication with Agoda, I am frustrated with the customer service I have encountered. I want to address the issues we've faced regarding the All Inclusive honeymoon at Adaaran Select Hudhuranfushi from October 7th-11th, [redacted], for my son, E.D., and his wife, L.D.D. This honeymoon was a gift from me. They checked in but a fire forced them to evacuate. The Butler promised to get their belongings but hasn't delivered all items yet. They were moved to Adaaran Rannali, which was subpar from their booked Ocean Villa. Then, they were moved to Olhuveli Beach & Spa, which was also not up to standard. They were charged for transfers and didn't receive the amenities they paid for. Despite multiple attempts, I still haven't received a satisfactory response or solution from Agoda or the resort. I am demanding a refund for the services not rendered. Without a resolution within 5 business days, I'll seek legal advice.

Update: I encountered an issue with Agoda stating that only the hotel could cancel reservations. They provided data displaying two bookings made one minute apart, arguing it was not their technical error. They explained that a confirmation email was sent for each booking, both of which I received simultaneously. While using the app, there was no indication that the booking was confirmed. I booked one room and later found two bookings in my email. This highlights a flaw in Agoda's system where it can generate simultaneous bookings for the same item. Typically, duplicate entries in data systems trigger an error to prevent this issue. It seems illogical to create two separate bookings for the same item when booking multiple rooms should be a straightforward process. A warning message should be triggered to alert users of a potential duplicate booking. I made a booking with Novotel Bangjok Siam Square, reference number #[redacted]44, via the Agoda app. My credit card was charged twice, and I received confirmation emails for two rooms. I reached out to the hotel through Agoda but only received an automated response. Could someone assist in canceling the second booking?

This is my fourth and final attempt to request a refund from Agoda for the double charge I received at the time of booking and check-in at Extended Stay America on Armour Rd in Columbus, GA. If the refund is not processed to my MasterCard ending in [redacted], I will need to dispute the charge with my Direct Express MasterCard, which I use exclusively for my Social Security Disability Income deposit. I only used it to secure my room reservation based on information from Booking.com that I would not be charged until check-in.
