Book Hotel room ... Update:*Agoda claim that they cannot fix the problem as the hotel only has the power to cancel reservations.*Agoda supplied data showing that * bookings were created * minute apart and claim therefore it is not a technical error on their behalf. They further state that a confirmation email was sent for each booking. I received both confirmations at the same time.*There was no indication to me when using the app that the booking had been confirmed. I simply booked * room and then checked email to find * bookings. This shows a problem with Agodas booking system that it can make simultaneous (or within * minute) bookings for the same thing. In most other data entry systems trying to enter something twice produces an error. *It would be not logical to make * separate bookings for the same thing, if you needed * rooms you would simply select * rooms in the initial booking. At the very least a warning message should be generated that you are duplicating an existing booking.**I made a booking with Novotel Bangjok Siam Square ref number ********** using the agoda app*My credit card has been charged twice and i received emails for * rooms bookings*I have contacted the hotel through Agoda but received an automated response.*can you please assist in canceling the second booking.
