To whom this may concern,**Myself and my partner are contacting yourselves regarding our stay at the Palm Paradise Resort, Ao Nang, Krabi (Confirmation number: *******************). **We booked to stay in the Garden View Bungalow. However, when we arrived, we soon realised that the room was unhygienic and not suitable for anyone to stay in. The bathroom had a small window that did not shut and had screws coming out of the window frame. The bath was full of dead flies and it clearly hadn’t been cleaned as there was spider webs throughout the whole bungalow. On the decking, there was a red ants nest and finally we did not have a garden view as promised. It was looking over what seem to be a skip. **We complained to the reception staff, and they offered us an upgrade to the main hotel building. This room had been cleaned, however, you could tell not recently as there was layers of dust on all the surfaces. The following day, we left the “clean room” sign on our door as we had the complimentary tea in the morning and wanted it replacing for the following day. Although, on our return in the evening, we realised our room had not been cleaned and we were faced with an ants infestation in our bed! **Once again, we had no choice but to approach the reception staff who came to look at the room. She attempted to brush the ants off with her hands and said, “she was one of two only staff working at the whole resort this evening”. *She then had no choice but to move us for the second time as there was no chance of her removing the ants from the bed and fixing the problem with the room.**Following this, we had to move all our stuff again in to a third room. However, after doing so we soon realised that this rooms air-con did not work along with some of the lighting. **Again, with the temperature of the rooms it would be dangerous to stay with no kind of air conditioning. So we approached the front desk once again. For the third time, we were moved in to the room we are currently accommodating now. Myself and my partner went to have showers and we have no hot water. Along side this, the shower itself, doesn’t work correctly as shown in video attached. This room also hasn’t been thoroughly cleaned as shown in pictures. **Myself and my partner are backpacking around Thailand, and we are not exaggerating any of these issues. We are both young students and are not too fussy where we stay. However, we recognise when a place is uninhabitable due to its cleanliness. We requested a refund from the hotel and said we would leave first thing in the morning as it was **:**pm on the evening as they had no other solution for us.**However, she was unable to refund us and as we feel extremely unsatisfied with our stay, our only option was to contact yourselves. **Thank you for taking your time to read our email. **Kind regards,**Jessica & Ben
