Booked for * nights (**th and **th December ****) at Ibis, Wellingborough on *th November ****, at which time I paid via my PayPal account. On checking in my husband was not aware that I had already paid and was asked to pay again which he did. So now the room had been paid for twice! We did not notice this overpayment until we were back home and checking our bank accounts. I have tried calling on numerous occasions over the last week but either the numbers are not recognised of no one answers. I sent an email but received a reply saying I had to email again on the official site (this I thought I had done) so am trying again. *If I do not receive a refund within the next * days I will be contacting PayPal. I believe the receptionist at the hotel should have known on check-in that this room had already been paid and not asked for another payment.
A full refund of the amount paid via my PayPal account £***.**.
