Hello, I reserved a suite room at Watermark Bali that accommodates up to 4 adults. Initially, I only entered 2 guests in my search as I wasn't sure if my mom would join. To err on the side of caution, I booked a room for 4 adults. Upon her arrival, the hotel unexpectedly charged me for a third person at a significantly higher rate, nearly half of the suite price. Despite booking a room for 4 adults, they justified the cost by insisting I only entered 2 guests in the search. This seems unjust as I did book a room with a capacity for 4 adults. I did not receive an extra bed, just additional towels and amenities. I noticed on Agoda that the prices for 2 and 3 adult guests were identical for that day. The hotel is insistent on payment, which is quite frustrating and illogical. I would appreciate any assistance in resolving this matter. Thank you.

On October 30th, I attempted to make a reservation at Seoul Hotel in Clark Angeles, Pampanga. After submitting my credit card details, the page disappeared, making me think the booking hadn't gone through. I refrained from proceeding further. However, I was surprised to discover that Agoda had charged my credit card for the booking, even though I hadn't received any confirmation from them. When we contacted the hotel, they mentioned only receiving a copy of the Agoda reservation or voucher, which led us to not check-in due to the late hour. I am curious as to why I never received a confirmation despite the charge appearing on my credit card, as confirmed by my bank. Thank you.

I made a mistake by not realizing there was no free cancellation when I booked with my credit card ending in [redacted]. I thought I was booking with free cancellation like my previous booking with AGODA ending in [redacted]. I canceled the booking 4 hours later because the hotel doesn't have a kids program for my daughter. I need help to get a refund and rebook a hotel with a kids program. I made a reservation through Agoda for a room, planning to check-in early the next day. The receptionist informed me that I could only check-in between 3 pm to 11 pm, and no one would be available later. This caused me to miss my check-in, as I arrived early on November 7, instead of late on November 6 as booked. The payment was already processed. After a frustratingly long wait, I contacted Agoda customer service. The agent spoke with the hotel and assured me they would email the hotel to arrange a refund. I was told to expect a follow-up call the next day, but I didn't receive any updates. Every time I called back, I was placed on hold for over an hour without speaking to a representative. Upon booking at the David Dead Resort & Spa through Agoda, I initially encountered issues with receiving a confirmation for my reservation. Despite reaching out via email, the confirmation only arrived the following day. The error was attributed to an incorrect email address provided during the booking process. Subsequently, when attempting to add a fourth person to the room, I was assured it could be accommodated, yet no confirmation was received. Upon arrival, the hotel claimed no knowledge of the request for an additional bed, leading to the need to secure a separate room at an extra cost of [redacted] shekel. Good morning, I made a booking at Acappella Suite Hotel Sdn Bhd, located at 8 Persiaran Sukan, Seksyen 13, [redacted] Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia, for a one-night stay. Check-in is on the 21st of October [redacted], and check-out is on the 22nd of October [redacted]. I have not yet received my booking confirmation. During the booking process, I noticed the booking ID, but I accidentally closed the page and did not manage to write it down. Hi, I made a reservation at the Royce Hotel on Jalan Samadhan in Kuala Lumpur for 4 nights via an online booking. Upon arrival, we were greeted by cockroaches running around, a dirty foyer area, and soiled couches with blackened upholstery. There was a musty smell, uncleaned floors, and visible dirt everywhere. We were given a key card with a room number attached but found other guests already in the room. Now, we feel anxious in the dingy corridor, especially since the hotel is situated in a rundown area with dilapidated buildings and shops. It's late after a 24-hour journey from Europe, and we may need to stay a night unless we receive assistance promptly. Hello, I am writing about a hotel reservation under Reservation ID: [redacted]93. Unfortunately, one of the travelers, Vittala Alamengada Poovaiah, my late father-in-law, passed away on the evening of 2-Nov-[redacted] due to a sudden cardiac arrest. As a result, the remaining travelers were unable to make the trip from Bangalore, India to Singapore. As a frequent traveler who relies on Agoda for booking hotels, transfers, and experiences, I have encountered a frustrating issue. My reservation for a particular hotel has been canceled three times, causing me great inconvenience. Despite the cancellations, I have noticed the same hotel being offered at a similar price, leading me to rebook multiple times, only to face cancellations again. I have been trying to reach Agoda for help with my complaint since November 1st. I had made a booking for November 1st to 4th at Tulip Creek Deira, Dubai, on October 4, [redacted]. The booking was confirmed and paid on October 5th was charged to my card accordingly. However, upon arriving on November 1st, the receptionist (Moiz) at the hotel informed me that my booking was cancelled, despite showing proof of my confirmation and payment. Moiz stated he couldn't provide us with a room because it was cancelled, advising us to contact Agoda. I've been trying to reach out to Agoda through their website and app since then but haven't received a response. This situation left us with no choice but to find another hotel in the middle of the night, which was highly inconvenient and disappointing. I kindly request a refund for the payment and hope to resolve this issue promptly.

I am writing regarding my booking ID [redacted]24 for Nov 11 to 18, [redacted], at Red Planet Timog, Quezon City, Philippines. The reservation was canceled on Nov. 8, [redacted]. I initially contacted the hotel by phone and was directed to Tel.No. [redacted]. After reaching out to that number, an answering machine prompted me to provide my booking ID and the last four digits of the credit card used for payment, confirming the cancellation without a refund. I am requesting a refund less any service fees as no hotel services were utilized. Please process the refund as soon as possible as I am in need of the funds. I was asked to leave a hotel in India at around 9 pm last night. I tried contacting the Agoda call center in India but waited for 15-20 minutes with no response. I had already paid for the room when my keys were taken from me as I was heading out for dinner, leaving me with no place to stay for the night. I felt upset and humiliated when the hotel owner yelled at me in front of others, threatening me if I tried to escalate the issue. I demand respect and customer loyalty after being treated unfairly and threatened. The situation escalated when physical threats were made towards me and my family. I am deeply disappointed and hurt by this experience.

Dear Agoda Customer Service, I booked a trip to Rajasthan Udaipur through Agoda and made a reservation at Hotel The Rising Udaipur. Dear Agoda, I recently stayed at The Rising Hotel in Udaipur, Rajasthan, which I booked through Agoda. Despite paying Rs. [redacted] more, after my booking was canceled, I faced numerous issues with the hotel. Upon arrival on November 9th, [redacted], we found that the geyser in the bathrooms was not working in any of the three rooms we checked in. The overall experience at The Rising Hotel was very disappointing. The staff and owner were rude and unprofessional, providing low-quality service despite charging high rates similar to a 3-star hotel.
