Gentlemen:**I received information by email from my credit card yesterday that my card was charged by Agoda in the amount of **,***.** philippine pesos and was surprised to receive from agoda too a survey of my experience at Asakusa view Hotel.I never used the hotel from aug ** to **. To my recollection this booking has been canceled way back in April **** which was confirmed as canceled for Booking Id *********.**For very early bookings, I expect Agoda to remind us by confirmation email BEFORE free cancellation period. This was not done before charging my credit card. No notices or email reminders were sent to me.*Unlike booking.com who always does this service and we are able to proceed or cancel. The charging of my card without notice to me is an act which violates consumer rights and standards.**Since we did not use the service of hotel and since we did not get any notice or reminder prior to charging my card, I rightfully claim a refund and a return of my funds to credit card ending in **** at the soonest.**Otherwise I will have to resort to legal measures and file complaints with consumer boards and in court.
