Dear Agoda, Thank you for your swift response. MayI know the full value of gift card? As you know I still believe that your NOT informing me before end of precancellation period should be changed for the welfare of all your customers. The problem this gives me that you billed my credit card of *****.** philippine pesos is a big amount. This was billed and posted Aug ** not aug ** as you say. I cannot pay this now as this was totally unexpected ands worse, unused. I really prefer a cash refund as I am a senior over ** years old and cannot travel much being a cancer survivor. I think your management should consider this with compassion and absolute customer service. Kindly respond soonest.

Help with my Agoda issue
The issue in GetHuman-dinggaye's own words
I asked Agoda for a refund for unlawful charging of my credit card WITHOUT EMAIL REMINDER OR NOTIFICATION of a hotel booking made very early April for August use. I was not informed nor reminded of this booking that they will charge my card.**Now what they are offering is a gift card but I want a cash refund back to my credit card for this . The gift check is a marketing ploy and is not acceptable. the Hotel agreed to waive and Agoda must give me back my money. Gift card is not acceptable. ... I was charged for a booking I cancelled on April ** booking no *************.!*Should have emailed or notified me before cancellation date to notify me if I am going to proceed with trip. Booking.com always remind me before the date of free cancellation comes up. I did not get email from agoda and my credit card was just charged on aug ** .i need a refund.
Hotel agreed to waive so I must have my refund back not a gift card for hotels in agoda for future use. Terrible policy without notification of charging card now advice regarding expiration of free cancellatiom to the detriment of all customers using their services.

rewrote them and will file in complaints board or go legal to get my refund back and for them to change their policy of no notification to customers they will charge my card or informing us by email of end date prior to free cancellation
