Help with my Agoda issue

Agoda was supposed to send an email so we could confirm a small charge to verify our card but we never got the email. After several days we finally got the email and confirmed the charge and Agoda charged us for the hotel almost instantly and then shortly thereafter notified us the booking was cancelled. The charges remained pending on our bank account and our bank said we had to contact Agoda to get them to remove the charges but agoda’s customer service will not let us speak to a person and just tells us the booking is cancelled and hangs up. We need to speak to a person in order to get the charges removed.
GetHuman-crheala did not yet indicate what Agoda should do to make this right.
