when I reached the hotel, I was told that they have no more rooms and they have cancelled the reservation with Agoda. I specifically asked if they will charge me for the night and they said that they will not as they have written to cancel the booking with you. ... Unfortunately, when I check my recent credit card statement, I note that Agoda did not cancelled the payment that I have made and instead had continued to bill me for the room.
I was already frustrated that my booking was not confirmed when I reached the hotel and then had to look for another place to stay nearby. Next, I now find that I am being charged for the cancelled room.
I have been a customer for a long time and had continued to book with Agoda. Please do look into this and kindly ensure that the refund is made soonest possible.
