I recently spoke with Affirm at 1-[redacted] regarding a returned item two weeks ago. Despite providing a receipt from the post office with tracking, Affirm insists I must pay for the allegedly defective product I returned. I am frustrated with Tradesy's lack of responsiveness and slow processing of returns. Affirm only acknowledges Tradesy's confirmation, disregarding postal proof of delivery. My state faced emergency flooding during this time. I am displeased with the lack of clear return policies and poor customer service experience. The ordeal has been time-consuming and aggravating. I urge Affirm to reconsider and obtain confirmation from Tradesy before requesting payment. I believe Tradesy has the item and encourage them to expedite the refund process. I feel unheard and frustrated by this situation. - Debbie, [redacted]

I wish to share my experience with Consumer Cellular regarding a promotional offer for a free month, which turned into two months being billed. I discovered that the free month was contingent upon activating the SIM card before March 31st. I reached out to the FCC and provided evidence of my situation. After lodging complaints with various authorities, including the FTC, Attorney General, AARP, and the Better Business Bureau, I also found inaccuracies in Consumer Cellular's advertisements. They falsely informed the FCC that I had consented to a credit check, which was not the case as I own an unlocked phone. I noted instances where their representatives admitted to deceptive practices. I am disappointed that I did not record these conversations, as it is illegal in my state to do so without consent. Moving forward, I recommend avoiding post-paid plans and opting for unlocked phones from reputable companies like Verizon. Despite the closure of my FCC case, I am yet to receive satisfactory resolution or acknowledgement of these discrepancies from Consumer Cellular. I wonder about the integrity of the FCC's handling of such matters.

I am experiencing issues making a purchase. When I enter my email, it says there is an existing account. When I try with my new number, it still says I have an account. Even when I use my old phone number ([redacted]), it claims I have an account. All my past accounts are fully paid unless the new number I have now belongs to someone with an active account. However, there is no explanation for the issue with my old number. Email: [redacted] New number: [redacted].

On April 13, I opened an account with Affirm for $1,[redacted].97. After making a return promptly, I received an email on April 25 confirming the return at $[redacted].51. However, my account continued to show a total of $1,[redacted].97, making it challenging to pay the remaining balance. Subsequently, on May 13, they withdrew $[redacted].66 from my bank account instead of the expected $[redacted].46. By May 16, my account was updated, allowing me to clear the remaining $64.80. Currently, my credit report reflects the total amount of $1,[redacted].97, despite resolving the balance discrepancy in the account. Although I contested this, the full amount has not been rectified. I believe this should not impact my credit score as I promptly made the return and would have paid the accurate balance if the company had managed it properly. If this issue is not resolved, I intend to leave a negative review. Thank you.

I paid $19.99 for the iPhone 7 to be shipped with service applied. Unfortunately, it was temporarily lost and now I can't get it to connect to the service. I suspect it may have been blacklisted. I have been trying to reach out to customer service for two weeks without any luck. I am considering returning the phone and leaving a negative review unless this issue is resolved. I would appreciate either a refund or having the phone enabled with service. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Hello, my name is Rawne C. from Spokane, Washington. The phone number previously assigned to me was [redacted]. The email address associated with my complaint is [redacted] I purchased a phone, got approved for financing, and the phone was shipped to me. Unfortunately, the phone was lost, I reported it, and TextNow blacklisted it. I have since found the phone but I am unable to use it. I have been trying to get in touch with them for assistance with no luck. It's a simple request – to un-blacklist the phone so I can continue using it. I plan to return it in about three days if this issue is not resolved. I just want to have a functioning phone that I have paid for.

I recently applied for credit to purchase a mattress from Nectar. I've received emails confirming my preapproval for a $5,[redacted] credit limit. However, when I try to buy the mattress online, I am unable to proceed past the shipping information page to reach the checkout page. Today, on 9/27/[redacted], I received an email from Affirm reminding me to utilize the approved credit before it expires on 9/28/[redacted]. I contacted Nectar, who suggested reaching out to Affirm in case they were causing the checkout issue. However, I hadn't even reached the checkout page to select Affirm as my payment method. I would appreciate any assistance in resolving this matter as I am eager to purchase the mattress from Nectar using the Affirm extended payment plan.

Hello, my name is John F. My mother, Gloria T., has been attempting to open an Affirm account to make online purchases. Despite providing all the requested information, including photo identification with her holding it next to her face, social security number, and pictures of her holding both identifications with face pictures, Affirm has been unable to confirm her identity. I have advised her to give up on using Affirm, but she is adamant about resolving this issue. I am puzzled by the unusual process of your company. Can you please look into this matter promptly? While I understand the need for security measures to prevent fraud, it is concerning that even after submitting all the required documents correctly, we are facing this obstacle. Your assistance in resolving this matter is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your attention. John F.

I did not receive my plane ticket after failing to provide my bank details and another transaction happening without my knowledge. I reached out to the airlines, and they confirmed that no flight was booked for the date I wanted. I need a refund of the $[redacted] deposit as I have made scheduled payments without receiving the ticket. It feels like I paid for nothing. How can I get my money back or receive assistance? I'm hoping my bank can help with the refund. My name is Nathan H.

Subject: Issue with Affirm Payment on Expedia Bundle Package Trip Hello, this is Kristina Way. I reached out to Affirm through multiple emails regarding an issue I encountered when trying to book a trip to Seattle, WA on 12/26/18 via Expedia.com using Affirm as my payment option. Despite being approved for $1,[redacted].83 with Loan ID: 9EEX-3QH8, and correctly paying $[redacted].41 (totaling $2,[redacted].24), Expedia's system indicated my booking was incomplete as they did not receive confirmation from Affirm, causing a setback. I have been diligent in my payments with Affirm in the past and wish to resolve this promptly. The $[redacted].41 payment was debited from my account, and the loan amount is reflected in my Affirm account. Expedia claims they did not receive Affirm's loan approval details, prompting me to seek clarification from Affirm to proceed with my booking. I await your assistance on this matter. Kindly reach out to me at your earliest convenience. My contact number is [redacted], the one linked to the Affirm app. Thank you.

Dear Affirm staff, I urgently need your assistance with a recent purchase I made from CJC Off-Road. I was informed that the vehicle part I bought would resolve the issues with my pickup truck. However, the part does not fit properly, creates noise, and feels unsafe. The person who initially helped me is now avoiding my calls and insisting that the part is correct, despite evidence suggesting otherwise. My mechanic has warned that this situation could lead to a dangerous accident. I am hesitant to make the payment until this matter is resolved as I believe I should not be charged for a defective or incorrect item. I am reaching out to seek your help in sorting out this issue efficiently. Thank you for your attention.

I have been approved through a firm for a Hayneedle purchase. Every time I reach the end of the approval process and select my payment method frequency, it redirects me back to Hayneedle for the purchase. However, an error message then appears saying there was a problem with the firm. I have tried this multiple times today. I'm puzzled why, despite being approved, I can't finalize my purchase. My promotional codes are expiring soon, and I'm eager to complete the transaction.

I recently purchased a cat-back exhaust for my [redacted] Nissan Titan 5.6 non XD from Stillen. Before purchasing, I had a conversation with Stillen where they assured me that the performance numbers listed on their website (43 whp/61 tq) were accurate and that no tuning was necessary on a stock vehicle. However, after doing further research by contacting other exhaust manufacturers and Dyno shops, I was informed that these claims are unrealistic and would require additional modifications and a programmer. I have reached out to Stillen directly about this issue but have not received a response yet. As this was a significant investment, I am disappointed by the misinformation provided. I intend to have an installation and Dyno test done at a location two hours away, and I would be willing to provide a legitimate Dyno sheet to support my claim.

I recently underwent a pre-approval process with Affirm. After providing my name, address, mobile number, email, and SSN, the result came back negative almost instantaneously. What troubled me was the lack of comprehensive identity verification questions and the absence of income details or date of birth requests. This one-sided rejection left me feeling uneasy about their practices. I regret entrusting them with my personal information, which I fear they may sell to data companies or marketing entities. Their generic email about the inability to confirm my identity and offer a payment plan did little to reassure me. It seems odd that Affirm doesn't ask for additional proof like a copy of an ID, driver's license, or passport for verification. This experience seems to be a frequent issue based on numerous similar reviews. It appears that Affirm may selectively choose customers using this ambiguous process, rather than proactively verifying identities. An authentication step like requesting photo ID or a utility bill would enhance their credibility and trustworthiness.

On April 5th, I made a payment that was due today. I realized the payment was not processed with my card. Even though the payment is due today, the system only allows me to pay the payment due on May 8th. I cannot call to rectify this issue, so I will make a payment of $[redacted].36, with one portion intended for today and the other for May 8th. I want to ensure the payment due today is not late, but I'm unsure of what else to do. I have also updated my card information on file.

I am extremely disappointed with Affirm. I believe I was one of their first customers and have had around 10 to 15 accounts with them. All my accounts were paid off early, except for two with a small remaining balance. Despite my history of early payments and multiple accounts, Affirm recently denied me for a $[redacted] purchase. I feel let down as I have referred many friends and family to Affirm due to its convenience. However, I will not be recommending them anymore. Once my last two accounts are settled, I will no longer use Affirm. It's unfortunate that Affirm has lost a loyal customer like me. I will be switching to a different service soon. Additionally, the lack of a customer service phone number is unacceptable. If I had known this earlier, I might not have chosen Affirm. This practice reflects poorly on their business and suggests hidden motives. Overall, I am deeply disappointed in Affirm's recent actions.

I recently purchased a boat from Horizon Hobby in Champaign, Illinois. Unfortunately, the boat is not functioning properly, so I returned it. I am interested in exchanging it for a different boat that costs $60 more and adjusting my payments to $21 a month with an additional $5. I misplaced the paper with the credit card number that was supposed to be sent to me, so I am unable to process the difference in cost without it. If I do not receive the credit card information soon, I may need to cancel my debit card. I hope to resolve this situation promptly as the current boat is not working as expected. Thank you for your understanding.

I am inquiring about a recent credit denial from Affirm. They claim they are unable to verify my previous account and identity, despite me having a positive account history back in [redacted] with BCBG. I recently applied for credit through "The Real" and was rejected for the same reason, referencing Experian not being able to confirm my identity. This seems contradictory as I have multiple active accounts on my credit report, all in good standing. I am seeking clarification on the specific reason for this denial since I have consistently paid my bills with Affirm without any issues.

I am experiencing issues with CheapOair. I spoke with Scott regarding CheapOair's refusal to refund my money. I wanted to change my seating on American Airlines, but CheapOair declined, asking me to cancel at a cost of $[redacted]. They allowed me 12 months to use the remaining $1,[redacted] as a credit, but booking again would incur a charge of $[redacted] per person. I contacted American Airlines, and they suggested reaching out to CheapOair. I am hopeful for a positive outcome. I believe it's unfair for CheapOair to withhold money without providing the service. I appreciate your assistance in resolving this. Thank you, Bob E.

I recently ordered an item that got delayed due to backorder, prompting me to cancel my order. I found the same item with another company that has it in stock, but the price has increased from $[redacted] to $[redacted] monthly. I'd like Affirm to allow me to purchase from the new company at the original $[redacted] monthly rate instead of delaying the return process for up to 21 days. The original company assured me a refund in 2 business days. The new company offers the same item at the same price, but I'm concerned about my upcoming first payment due on the eighteenth. I hope for a swift resolution. Thanks, Joel Bayley.
