Hello, I need urgent assistance! I recently used my Aeroplan points to book a flight for 6 people from St. Johns, Newfoundland, to London, England. The booking was accepted, but the individual flight itineraries I received have combined first names and middle initials (for example, WilliamH Bishop instead of William H Bishop). Will this cause issues at the airport? I'm worried that the names won't match my passport. Your prompt help is appreciated. Thank you, William H Bishop.

Hello, I recently made a booking with the booking reference QAWH7I (which has been updated to L5VJHW) and paid for seat upgrades to row 18. However, my seats have been changed to row 45 without explanation. I would like to request that my seats be changed back to the upgraded seats in row 18, which I have already paid for. I reached out to Air Canada, who directed me to contact Aeroplan since this was a rewards booking, but unfortunately, I am unable to get through via phone. I would greatly appreciate any assistance with resolving this issue, especially since I am coordinating travel for my in-laws who can be quite challenging! I created a temporary Aeroplan account with the number #[redacted]67, which I may keep for future use if necessary. Please note that I don't think this booking is currently linked to my new account. Thank you, Ryan

I am a member of Aeroplan with the name C.H. Ningrum. I am trying to use my Aeroplan miles to book a ticket for my husband. Despite multiple attempts on both the Aeroplan and Air Canada websites, I have been unsuccessful. When using the Air Canada site, I encountered issues using my Aeroplan number for a different passenger other than myself as the primary traveler. I would appreciate guidance on how to successfully book a ticket for my husband using my Aeroplan miles. Thank you for your prompt assistance.

Dear Aeroplan Customer Service Representative, I am writing to inquire about the procedure to change my flight date from Toronto Pearson International Airport to Port of Spain International Airport on December 7, [redacted], aboard AC [redacted]. I am interested in rescheduling for either December 15 or December 21. My booking reference number is UIQQGR. I have attempted to contact you via phone multiple times in the last five days, but the operator advises me to call back. I would appreciate your guidance on this matter. Respectfully, Jonathan Manbode

I have been attempting for the past three days to modify my return flight scheduled for December 7th to an earlier time. Despite multiple attempts, I have faced challenges in contacting customer service, with representatives consistently stating they are occupied with other inquiries and advising me to call back. I resorted to reaching out to Air Canada, only to be directed back to Aeroplan for assistance. Considering that we are traveling in business class, I expected a smoother process. The recurring customer service problems with Air Canada are disheartening, and encountering similar issues with Aeroplan is frustrating.

I attempted to book a flight online twice. However, upon reaching the final step of entering my credit card details, I encountered a "Flight Redemption Failure" message with no further details provided. When trying to resolve this issue over the phone, I was informed through a voice menu that Aeroplan was experiencing high call volumes and suggested calling back later for assistance.

I am seeking assistance with reinstating my expired points. I was assured that I could have them restored by contacting the hotels that neglected to credit me with the points. I have successfully done so and am eager to have my expired points reinstated. I kindly request prompt contact to address this matter. I have been diligently calling 7-8 times a day, only to encounter a recorded message stating long wait times. This frustrating situation has persisted for weeks. I am in urgent need of assistance. Thank you.

I recently discovered my Aeroplan points expired in June [redacted]. Unfortunately, the hotels where I stayed did not credit these points to my account. After reaching out to Marriott, the issue has been resolved from their end. Maggie, a Lead customer service representative in the Montreal office, assured me on Sept 8, [redacted] that my 32,[redacted] expired points could be reinstated once Marriott updated the points. I have followed through with Marriott, and I am eager to have my lost points restored. I have been diligently calling the 1-[redacted] number multiple times a day for weeks without success. Any guidance you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

My Aeroplan account got blocked for "security reasons." I followed the instructions to reset my password, but I'm still blocked. Unfortunately, I can't reach Aeroplan or Air Canada because of high call volumes. I need to speak with them about a booking change in January that might affect my connecting flight. Thanks for the help.

I require assistance from Aeroplan regarding my booking. Despite making multiple calls, I am only directed to a recording prompting me to call again. Attempts to resolve my issue online prove futile as there is no relevant option to choose. How can I proceed if I am unable to reach an agent? My reservation is associated with an obsolete email address, and despite ensuring my profile is updated correctly, the booking still shows the outdated email, causing me to miss important updates. Recently, all my flights were altered by Air Canada, and I discovered this by chance when checking my status on the Aeroplan website.

A month ago, I was requested to submit the death and marriage certificates along with a copy of the will to transfer my late husband's Aeroplan miles to my Aeroplan account. However, this has not been completed yet. I have been trying numerous times to contact your office, but it has been impossible. The voicemail has now been changed, making it very inconvenient and stressful. My account number is [redacted]29, and my late husband's account number is [redacted]16. I kindly ask for assistance in resolving this matter. Thank you. Augusta Locilento

I encountered an issue while trying to book a flight using AEROPLAN. Despite having enough points to redeem the flight and entering all the information accurately, the payment step failed. I have been attempting to contact customer service for weeks without success. This situation is urgent as I have a flight scheduled for my senior mother, who requires my assistance due to her mental illness, from Fort Mcmurray to Toronto on December 13th. It is distressing that not only did I face technical problems on the website, but also the inability to reach customer service for assistance. Aeroplan's service has been disappointing.

I have been attempting to contact your call center for the past two weeks to get assistance with booking a multi-city trip. It is frustrating that I have been unable to reach anyone, causing me to miss out on important European flights. Not being a diamond member should not mean I receive no priority when calling for help. This level of service is unacceptable, especially during the holiday season when other airlines and reward programs are more accessible. I would appreciate it if a Manager from your call center could reach out to me to resolve this issue. It's disheartening to consider purchasing two separate European airline tickets due to the inefficiencies within your company. -Lori P. Phone: [redacted] Email: [redacted]

On November 24, I made a booking using [redacted],[redacted] redeemed miles from account no. [redacted]22 for a flight under booking reference "WYU7IM" for Strasser from ZRH to PEK. I also paid a [redacted] CAD fee via credit card. Unfortunately, the booking disappeared without notice a few days later, and the [redacted],[redacted] miles have not been restored. I am concerned about the missing miles, the fee paid by credit card, the flight booking status, and the reason for rejection. This has been a disappointing experience, and I appreciate a prompt response with clarification. Thank you.

Since [redacted], my wife and I have travelled with Air Canada over fifty times to various destinations globally, such as Singapore, Rome, and Buenos Aires. This winter, we plan to fly round trip to Puerto Vallarta and may also purchase tickets for our sons. Despite some occasional issues, we have generally been satisfied with our experiences. We have been fortunate to use Aeroplan points for several trips. Recently, we encountered a problem when booking a flight using points from Halifax to Vancouver via Toronto in April/May [redacted]. After facing challenges securing desirable flights, I contacted Aeroplan for assistance. It took multiple attempts and four days to reach an agent, who eventually helped us find suitable flights. However, upon receiving our tickets, we discovered a surprise - we were booked for business class but had to pay for checked bags for the short flight from Ottawa to Toronto. This unexpected charge left us feeling unsettled. I wanted to share this experience as feedback for Air Canada and Aeroplan, as it was not disclosed during booking. Despite this issue, I intend to continue flying with Air Canada and using Aeroplan. Thank you for your attention to this matter. - Rob Murray from Bedford, Nova Scotia

I am Ms. Field, urgently seeking to get in touch with an Aeroplan representative. Despite numerous unsuccessful call attempts over the past 6 days, I finally managed to connect after a one-hour wait, only to be disconnected by Aeroplan while modifying my flight and adding a stopover. This experience is incredibly frustrating. The website advises contacting a live agent to make date and itinerary changes. The current situation, where a customer risks missing their flight due to unavailability of agents, is unacceptable. I implore Aeroplan to reach out to me promptly to resolve this issue. My contact number is [redacted].

I made a reservation for a flight from Calgary to Boston departing on January 26 and returning on February 1 with Aeroplan. I received an email from Air Canada on December 3 stating that my return flight from Toronto to Calgary has been rescheduled to AC [redacted], departing at 16:00, leaving me with a 4-hour layover in Toronto. I'm considering changing my return trip to flights AC [redacted] from Boston to Montreal, and AC [redacted] from Montreal to Calgary. The email mentioned no change fees if I reach out to Air Canada or Aeroplan. The new booking reference number is now TFP5HJ. Thank you, B. Poopma.

Good afternoon, I have received information from Aeroplan rewards indicating that I need to provide all written documentation to recover our airmiles, which were deducted from our accounts in April and May of this year. We had booked flights for a European tour in November [redacted] and an Aeroplan Vacations hotel in Malta. These bookings were made on March 20, [redacted], under the Lufthansa Booking Code JB338Z. Could you please advise on the procedure for submitting the paperwork to the appropriate email address for review so that our miles can be reinstated? Thank you.
