The issue in GetHuman-cmbaldwi's own words
I had about *** *** aeroplan points I have been saving my whole life. These points expired and I was not notified by email or mail. I was planning to use these points to bring my wife over to Austrailia this winter as I am here all winter. I tried to get the Marriot to reverse the points and apply them to Aeroplan but was unsuccessful. I also have used Home Hardware and several car rentals during the last year but did not apply the points to Aeroplan. Would you be so kind as to reinstate the points as it was a one time overlook. I would much appreciate this and am a loyal Air Canada flyer. I am also a pilot and have worked for one of Air Canada's commuter airlines. I would like to continue using Air Canada and Aeroplan as my primary. I am also planning to bring by Daughters over to Australia this winter, preferably on Air Canada.
