On Wednesday April **, **** as I was about to board AM*** from Mexico City to Toronto which was scheduled to depart at *:**pm, my travel partner was told that she needed an immigration slip in order to board the plane. The Aeromexico boarding representative told us both to run to get the slip and that the flight would wait for us. This was at *:**pm. As per her instruction, we ran to get the slip and returned to the board the plane at approximately *:**pm. The AM representatives informed us that the flight had already departed. HOWEVER, there were NO announcements calling our names to board the flight so we had no indication that it was about to depart! This is standard airline policy, to call late passengers over the PA.*I am requesting to be refunded the $****CAD that my partner had to pay to get us home on another flight on her credit card. Aeromexico was negligent, disrespectful and highly unprofessional in helping us make the transition from getting the immigration slip, to missing our flight, to finding another flight home. In fact the * representatives we had to deal with were rude and lacked basic communication for * paying customers.**I trust that you will respond accordingly.
