The issue in GetHuman-lydiast's own words
I phoned today to cancel my flight. Aerom*xico said I would get ** dollars back. They transferred me to the refunds department and I waited on hold for ** mins. I got cut off as my reception wasn’t good. I phoned back and got through to a different person, had to go through security again and then had to hold for another * mins. Then they said I could only get a credit note for the flight valid for one year. I questioned why I could not get a refund as their colleague had stated. They said they did not know and there were no notes on the file. Then they said I would have to phone the UK number to get a refund. I questioned again why I had been offered a refund previously and why I was not told that I needed to phone the UK number- surely it was obvious that I had made my booking in the UK and in pounds. I explained that I had wasted a lot of time on hold. There was no apology just that there were no notes on the the file. I am requesting a full refund of this flight for the time wasted and incorrect and confusing information
