fly home ... On August *nd I flew Aer Lingus from Kerry to Dublin, then Dublin to JFK and then flew Jet Blue from JFK to San Diego. Business Class. The check-in agent at the Kerry airport was not aware that Aer Lingus has a relationship with Jet Blue, even though your airlines share Terminal * at JFK Airport. She checked my suitcase to JFK for me to claim and re-check. My bag never arrived.**Aer Lingus employs a "Baggage Manager" at JFK airport to deal with passengers whose bags fail to arrive. This man was very rude and unhelpful. He told me that Aer Lingus always loses some bags - to just get over it. He told me that there was no way that I would have my suitcase*clothing for several days because Aer Lingus has no support infrastructure in the USA. This is very discouraging given that I paid almost $*,***US for my air fare on Aer Lingus. You need to replace the man who handles your upset passengers at JFK airport with an Aer Lingus employee who is intelligent and sensible enough to represent your airline, and who is capable of dealing with a line of passengers who expected their suitcase to arrive on the same flight as them.
Aer Lingus's reputation is hurt by the non-employee people and agents you rely on to get people and baggage checked in and out of your system. Nobody at Aer Lingus seems to care.
My suitcase was allegedly turned over to FEDEX. However, * days after I got home I still don't have my suitcase and clothing. I have heard nothing at all from Aer Lingus.
I have many business associates and friends living in Ireland. I followed their advice regarding my air travel.
I see negative reviews of Aer Lingus on a number of websites. Before I add mine, I would like to hear back from the airline.
