The issue in GetHuman1636047's own words
Trying to submit the online Refund Request Form ... Trying to cancel flight booking and obtain refund on government taxes and charges (as flight was 'saver'). Spent ages going around in irritating circles on 'manage my flight', gave up. Can't understand why My Trips can list my booked flights and booking references, but when I go to the Manage My Booking section, I can enter the same booking reference in and it's not recognised. Why does it say Flight No E***** on the ticket, for them to accept it as valid in the form if written as ***? How does anyone know to take the first and last two numbers, without any information explaining that? That's just making things difficult for people and wasting their time. Found another way to obtain cancellation and refund policy page, filled out the form only for it to fail to send. Received error message: System.Net.Mail failure, so after all that, just wasted my time. Still nowhere. Should I bother doing all that again?
It's a waste of time filling it out, because it doesn't 'send' anyway, according to the System.Net.Mail. error message I got the connection is closed.
Simplify the refund process - it can't be that technically challenging.
We've been customers for at least two years and regularly book flights - between four and six flights a month.
