Booked flight from Gatwick to Dublin yesterday **th Sept. Was booked through BA but flight was with Aer Lingus: **Booked in and gate came up at *:** went to gate and spoke to one of the Aer Lingus staff. She said it was not my flight on their board was flight no EI *** my flight no on boarding pass was BA ****. I was then told to go back up to main area and speak to information desk: against time as I did not want to miss my plane. I ran with my ** yr old up to information. They checked and said no that is your flight and sent me back down. Got to gate ** again and they said this flight no is not on any of their flights. They checked again and then said I had already gone through to the boarding lounge when clearly I was standing there with my child . After about ** mins of checking the supervisor said yes this is your flight and let me go through to the lounge. I found this whole thing very distressing as I had a child , didn’t want to have to run back and forth from the desk to the gate and also I was going home to my uncles funeral. We sat on the plane thinking are we really on the right flight or will someone say we are siting in there seats and where would my luggage be. *This was not acceptable. I paid full price for the pleasure of this. And I would like some compensation. **Regards *Paula Moore Cook
