I am reaching out for assistance as I am extremely frustrated. I have been in contact with Support@ACTBLUE (Draya) regarding a major issue, where I mistakenly used my corporate card for donations. Despite sending at least 10 emails as requested, I have not received any responses after being assured of help. Draya asked for a list of payments made with my corporate card multiple times, which I sent promptly. I am concerned about the lack of communication and the handling of my account information, as it has raised doubts about the integrity of the fundraising process. I need this matter resolved urgently and seek a response without further delay.

I have two concerns regarding incorrect charges on my credit card statement due to a donation I made. Firstly, on October 19, I donated $50 to the Democratic party, which was correctly listed on my credit card. However, I noticed two $50 charges, one to 'Dems' and the other to 'civicsc'. I only intended to make one $50 donation and do not recall authorizing a second one shortly after. Secondly, I initially intended to donate $5 online but was mistakenly charged $10. Upon correcting this, I ended up being charged for both $10 and $5 donations. I had only meant to donate $5. I am apprehensive about using Act Blue for future donations due to unclear instructions leading to unintended charges. I hope these matters can be resolved promptly. #1 issue with the two $50 donations is under order # AB[redacted]55. The second issue occurred on either 11/14/21 or 11/13/21 and is pending on my credit card statement. I am Ellyn Spencer from Haverhill, MA.

I frequently donate through ActBlue but have been experiencing issues with the donation deductions. Once I make a donation, ActBlue deducts the same amount from my credit card the next day. Additionally, for monthly contributions I signed up for, ActBlue is deducting money every week. This has resulted in me being unexpectedly billed $[redacted] to $[redacted] each month, which is far beyond what I can afford ($[redacted]). I am unsure why this is happening. Should I cancel all my donations? Please advise me on how to resolve this issue. Thank you.

I currently have 6 or 8 recurring contributions deducted from 2 separate credit cards monthly. Unfortunately, I lost one card, making the number invalid. I've also recently retired and now wish to adjust the contribution amounts. It appears challenging to address these interconnected issues promptly with a live customer service representative. Unless resolved within 24 hours, I may cease donations to these causes. Furthermore, I receive continuous surveys from the DCCC or similar Democratic organizations that conclude with donation requests despite my existing contributions. There's no option to indicate my current donations or my status as an independent voter. Polls and fundraising appeals should be distinct for accurate polling results. I consistently specify my non-Democrat affiliation when possible, yet this information seems disregarded. It seems your primary focus is mass contributions, with little regard for comprehending the diverse opinions of donors who may not align solely with the Democratic party.

I made a one-time contribution and selected to donate $10 each to Kentucky Civic Engagement Table and Feeding America, with an additional $1 tip. After receiving a receipt, I discovered that my contributions were mistakenly listed as $10 to National Diaper Bank Network and $10 to Care instead. I insist that my initial choices be honored. I am disappointed that my selections were altered. Please rectify this error and ensure my donations go to the correct charities. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Wm Redetzke

On the afternoon of January 15, I accidentally donated $[redacted] to Act Blue instead of $6. This amount is significant for me as my only income is Social Security. When I tried to correct this on the Act Blue site, I encountered issues related to my email address and providing the amount. Despite stopping the payment, the $[redacted] came out of my bank account along with the intended $6. I am struggling with the potential repercussions, such as having to get a new card and adjusting automatic debits. I would appreciate if Act Blue could remove the donation to avoid further complications. Your assistance is crucial to me, as I have not shared this situation with my daughter and wish to resolve it discreetly.

I've had two instances where my recurring donations to candidates were not processed due to the explanation "unable to complete transaction." One issue was due to my credit card being cancelled for suspected fraudulent activity, which I resolved by updating my information with AB. Though this temporarily fixed the problem, it recurred shortly after my communication with Emily in AB support. It appears that there might have been another error with the card number. I will send the correct information again. Please ensure that my donations reach the candidates as agreed upon. Thank you.

I have multiple VISA cards, one dedicated to donations for causes and Democratic candidates. Recently, I accidentally used my non-political donation VISA card when ordering gifts. Now, every time I try to donate money, the non-political card's number appears, preventing me from contributing for causes. Despite trying, I can't get my longstanding political contribution card number, ending in [redacted], to display consistently. This mix-up is hindering my ability to support causes. I manage my finances meticulously with separate accounts. I would appreciate it if this issue can be resolved promptly, as I have other important tasks to attend to. Thank you for your assistance. On June 30th, I made a $3 donation to Act Blue. However, upon reviewing my credit card statement, I noticed that the donation was processed as $25. As someone living on a fixed income in California, where the cost of living has significantly increased, this unauthorized change is concerning. The transaction description on my statement reads ACTBLUE* STRAT.Institu HTTPSSecure A MA. I typically donate $3 to various political organizations and occasionally add a $1 tip, but I did not authorize this increase to $25. I would like a refund for the unauthorized amount.

I am receiving emails from the Progressive Turnout Project that I find harassing. I feel insulted by their approach, suggesting that I don't care. I have been donating monthly to ActBlue for years and sometimes donate to individuals as well. It is frustrating to be called names and questioned about not caring. The tone of the emails implies that they are not listening to us or understanding. I am considering canceling my monthly donations to ActBlue and just donating five dollars to them instead.

I have made significant donations to multiple candidates over the past few years. Unfortunately, my son has been receiving text messages indicating that he made these donations, which has been ongoing for months now. He has tried to stop the texts without success. This situation is unacceptable, and he needs to be removed from all solicitations. It would be much more efficient to address this matter over the phone. I am considering stopping my contributions due to this issue. I tried to report this problem when making recent donations, but there was no option to leave messages or comments. It is frustrating to see praise for Get Human as a superior form of communication when it clearly is not. We value personal interactions with friends and family, especially during the holidays.

I am dissatisfied with the way my donations were handled by ActBlue. Back in July, I set up two recurring donations of $25 each, one to Valor Project supporting the LGBT+ community and the other to Emily's List promoting women candidates. However, I recently discovered that ActBlue decided to allocate $25 as a monthly donation to one organization, leaving the other with only $12.50 without my consent. I demand that my ActBlue account be terminated immediately, and I want a refund of the funds to my Discover card. What's particularly frustrating is that after the [redacted] election, I closed my ActBlue account and changed the password, yet transactions are still being processed without my authorization. This lack of transparency and unauthorized changes feel like fraud to me, which is illegal. I believe ActBlue should be more upfront about their processes and respect donors' intentions.

I am Diane E Moyer, and my email is [redacted] I had an ActBlue account from the summer of [redacted] until November [redacted]. In early November [redacted], around the time of the elections, I deleted all recurring donations and closed my account. Today, I noticed three pending donations on my MasterCard ending in X1213: Pending ACTBLUE* DCCC-HOUSEDEM - $11.00 Pending ACTBLUE* DCCC-HOUSEDEM - $27.50 Pending ACTBLUE* RAPHAEL.WARNO - $[redacted].00 I want to report that these transactions were not authorized by me since I closed my account. I would appreciate it if someone from ActBlue could contact me via email or phone to resolve this issue.

I mistakenly assumed my monthly donations to campaigns would end with their conclusion. To my surprise, I discovered $50 charges for December on my credit card. I need assistance in canceling these donations to Beto O'Rourke and Celia for Austin. Despite previous attempts with Beto O'Rourke's team, the charges persisted. I have decided not to commit to monthly donations to candidates in the future. Please advise on stopping these charges. Thank you.

I would like to confirm that when I donate to a progressive candidate through ActBlue, none of it goes to the Democratic establishment that is trying to undermine them. I have observed that Democratic candidates only provide ActBlue as a donation option, which raises concerns that ActBlue may be used for neo-liberal Democrats to benefit from progressive contributions and then sabotage progressive candidates, as they typically do. I used to donate regularly, but it seems that progressive candidates have little chance within the Democratic Party. I prefer not to refer to it as the Democratic Party because it does not meet that standard.

I am concerned about the unauthorized withdrawals from my personal bank account by ActBlue. This has happened three times recently and amounts to what I consider fraudulent activity. Last year, I lost almost $[redacted] due to similar incidents involving ActBlue, and I am understandably upset. Specifically, on 1/26/23, $10 was withdrawn for ACTBLUE*ADAM.SCHIFHTTPSECURE.AMAUS, and on 1/28/23, a $22 withdrawal was made with the description POS Deposit ACTBLUE* DCCC-HOUSEHTTPSSECURE.A MAUS. Please address this issue promptly or I may seek further action to resolve it. You can reach me at [redacted] or [redacted] once the unauthorized charges have been reversed.

During the past Fall '22 elections, I used ActBlue to donate a total of less than $[redacted] to my chosen candidates. However, my credit card was subsequently used without my authorization, resulting in an additional $[redacted] being sent to unknown sources by ActBlue. It took Bank of America over four months to investigate and determine the unauthorized transactions. I am still waiting for the funds to be returned to my account.

I recently received a call requesting a $20 donation to support the fight against gun control. While I do support responsible gun control, I explained to the caller that this month wasn't convenient for me and that I could contribute after May 1st. Despite my response, the caller persistently pressured me. She assured me she would send a form along with a prepaid envelope for my donation in May, but instead she proceeded to withdraw money from my account. This incident has caused me to lose trust in this organization, and I am now seeking a refund. As an 87-year-old woman on a limited income, her actions have also resulted in overdraft fees for me.

Dear Act Blue representative, I am currently experiencing financial hardship and will not be able to contribute for the next three months. I kindly request that any pending payments be canceled. I have used the email addresses [redacted] and [redacted], but my previous email [redacted] was hacked and is no longer in use. The only active payment I believe is still processing is for $15.00 through PayPal, which I no longer have access to. Despite being a consistent contributor in the past, my reduced income due to retirement and the loss of my job and wife have made it necessary for me to pause my contributions temporarily. I assure you I will resume donations in the future. Please consider my circumstances and grant me some leniency in this matter. Thank you, Joseph B. I am a 78-year-old Totally Disabled Veteran. I have been erroneously charged numerous times over the last 8 months and had to dispute these charges with your company. Every time I donated $3.00, your company would take $[redacted] from my account in error. This has caused me financial strain, as I am unable to make my home payment. I have tried to contact you by phone and through written correspondence, but have had difficulty reaching you. I am owed a refund of $[redacted] for the unauthorized charges, and I am considering seeking legal assistance if this matter is not resolved promptly. Please refund the amount taken and address this issue immediately. Thank you.
