I am reaching out on behalf of Mrs. M. Cable regarding her recent experience with Acorn. She worked with J. Sullivan to install a stairlift and was advised to have a [redacted]-volt outlet installed near the staircase by Eastside Electric. Unfortunately, the design discussed couldn't be implemented. After a conversation with Acorn, it was agreed that she would be refunded $[redacted].03 for the unnecessary electrical work. Although she received her deposit back, the reimbursement for the outlet installation is pending. Kindly process the $[redacted].03 reimbursement to Mrs. M. Cable at [redacted] Rocky Road East, Harwinton, CT [redacted]. For any inquiries, please reach out to Mr. S. Haskell at [redacted]. Your swift attention to this matter is greatly appreciated.

I recently installed a 6-year-old Acorn Stairlift [redacted], but I am facing an issue where the LED trouble code display is not lighting up, and the chair is not moving or making any sounds. I have checked and found 17.4 volts AC and 24 volts DC at the printed board, confirmed good battery and fuse, and ensured the battery isolation switch is on and key switch is horizontal. I even attempted the 30-second reset. During installation, the unit powered itself to the top, and I manually aligned the gear with the teeth on the track. Any assistance on how to resolve this problem would be highly appreciated. Thank you.

My name is Nancy Corwin. We had a stairlift installed last July. In June this year, I was pressured to buy a $[redacted] warranty. I finally got it in July. I've been trying to schedule maintenance but haven't heard back in four weeks. When I call, the line disconnects after 2 minutes. I'm frustrated as our chair squeals loudly when turning. I need help.
