My elderly mother, aged 92, resides in a mobile home park. An AT&T service vehicle was in the vicinity yesterday (1/14/22), and following their departure, the telephone service ceased functioning. A scheduled visit for today to rectify the issue did not materialize. Instead, AT&T texted my cellphone, indicating they would prioritize her on the next available service day. They advised me to check her new appointment time at ATT.com/repair. Despite my efforts for almost an hour, I am unable to make progress on the website and encountered loops. I tried contacting the [redacted] number after 7pm, although it was stated to be open until 9pm local time, and was informed that they were closed. My mother's telephone number is [redacted]. Regrettably, the customer service experience has been incredibly disappointing. Fortunately, we have Cox phone service at our residence, which may be considered as an alternative. At present, due to the inadequate repair service, my mother is without phone service.

Hello, I recently sold my iPhone 7 to a friend who tried to activate it on Verizon but couldn't due to a lock from the previous carrier, AT&T. I'm lucky my friend can reach out to me for help. Dealing with AT&T has been frustrating as I can't reach a live person despite trying multiple times. I'm puzzled as to how the phone got locked without my knowledge. Despite lodging formal complaints and speaking with multiple representatives, our account has been consistently overcharged since Aug/Sept [redacted] due to not receiving promotional credits for two cell phones we returned (Black iPhone XS and Silver iPhone XS Max) on 11/24/[redacted]. Initially promised a $[redacted]+ credit, we never received it. Subsequent follow-ups yielded empty promises and no resolution. I suspect our phones have been retained unlawfully. We switched to ATT for a promotion that has proven costly due to this lack of resolution. Despite filing a complaint on your website, there has been no response for months. This is my final attempt to have our phones returned, refunds issued, and overcharges reimbursed. Failure to do so will result in legal action. Immediate action is expected from ATT. I couldn't keep my old number when I switched to Spectrum Service on August 18th, [redacted]. I only received one notice from AT&T about canceling my account. The charges made by AT&T every month since then are all errors. I believe I should only be charged for one extra month of service from AT&T. My account number is [redacted]03.

I recently moved and transferred my cable and Internet service. During the transfer, the technician used my old equipment from [redacted], which raised some concerns for me. After contacting AT&T to renew a discount, they found that the job was not completed properly by the technician. They had to manually mark the job as finished in the system. However, I discovered today that one of my TVs has no connection while the DVR on another TV isn't working. One TV displays an error message saying "account unavailable - this top box does not match the account settings" and the other shows "dvr unavailable". I suspect the issues are due to using old equipment, which now doesn't match up after the job was completed.

I have been attempting to unlock my phone for over a week but have been unable to do so due to an incorrect balance notification. Despite paying off my installment plan promptly, the system still indicates a balance, preventing me from unlocking my phone. After multiple unsuccessful attempts, I was informed to wait for 30 days before trying again. I have complied with all company requirements and even visited a store for assistance, only to be directed back online. I was informed about a $20 promotion for Internet [redacted] for 12 months starting on 12/14/[redacted], reducing my bill to $45. However, upon receiving my first bill in January [redacted], it was $65. After contacting customer service on Jan 24, [redacted], the initial representative acknowledged the mistake but couldn't make the change. I was transferred to a billing agent named Don who instead of quickly resolving the issue, asked about my internet usage and tried to upsell me. After some back and forth, he lowered the bill to $60/month but stated the promotion was only valid for a few days. He agreed to investigate why I was promised the 12-month promotion as evidenced in the service request form.

I have been struggling to add my Bellsouth.net emails to Outlook and Windows Mail App. Despite multiple attempts to contact tech support, I have faced long hold times, missed callbacks, and unhelpful responses. After being on hold for over an hour, I finally received assistance via live chat from Savannah, who managed to add my email to Outlook but couldn't restore the folders and communications. When escalated to a supervisor, the call mysteriously disconnected. It has been an all-day effort, starting at 8:00am, with no resolution in sight. Technical support seems unable to resolve the issue without screen sharing capabilities. I am still unable to add my emails to Windows and continue to wait on hold. As a long-time customer, I hope for a prompt and effective solution. What has become of AT&T Customer Services? It's disappointing to encounter support staff requesting payment before addressing my issue.

I ordered an iPhone 13 Pro Max from the AT&T store on November 7. After it didn't arrive in a month, I called and spoke with Manager Matthew B. He canceled the order and placed a new one, offering a one-day sale deal for a fifth line and phone, claiming it would save me $30-$50 monthly without any loss of features. I received the new phone and line but noticed issues like the lack of a hotspot. They clarified I didn't actually need the extra line or phone for the plan. They agreed to fix the plan, let me return the extra phone, and remove any fees. Despite returning the phone on January 14, [redacted], my issue remains unresolved as of January 29, [redacted]. I've faced over $1,[redacted] in charges and numerous calls to customer service for a resolution that seems impossible due to system restrictions. My Direct TV benefits have also been affected, leading to a drastic bill increase. In December, I discovered that my 3G phone was no longer compatible, requiring an upgrade to 5G. After receiving the new phone, it arrived empty, causing weeks of inconvenience. Fortunately, a week ago, I received assistance from the vice president's assistant who promptly provided me with a new phone within 2 days. Despite setting it up, my account is currently inactive, which is my main concern. Throughout January, while battling cancer at the age of 58, my phone remained nonfunctional despite having paid for the service. Following instructions, I ordered a replacement phone, which arrived empty, leading to missed calls and extensive efforts contacting local AT&T stores to no avail. Seeking only a credit to reactivate my account, I have meticulously documented all interactions, including confirmation numbers. I recently switched from Verizon to AT&T, but encountered numerous issues while setting up my new account. I ordered four phones, but a fake line was created, causing confusion. Although I returned three of the phones to the AT&T Warehouse in Fort Worth, TX, I haven't received a refund for them. Despite cancelling the account, I still haven't been reimbursed. The AT&T representative didn't provide me with the necessary PIN, preventing me from accessing details about the refund status. Even after speaking to the local sales manager, Ethan, I am at a dead end and no one has been able to help. I simply want the refund for the phones I returned.

I am still receiving email notifications from AT&T on an unconfirmed email address. Despite reaching out to support and the AT&T fraud department multiple times, I can't seem to remove my email from an account that isn't mine. I repeatedly receive spam emails about overdue bills, service suspensions, and account notifications. Please stop emailing me. The correct email address for this account is not mine, and I do not have any association with AT&T services. It seems impossible to resolve this issue, and I have never been an AT&T customer nor do I plan to be due to this ongoing problem. I contacted on Feb 3 at 9AM Central Time to report that my internet cable was disconnected due to an ice storm. During the 25-minute call, I was assured the repair would be scheduled. Unfortunately, due to a 6-day power outage, I didn't follow up. Now that power is restored, I realize I wasn't actually placed on the repair list. The earliest appointment offered by customer service is February 14, which is not acceptable as I work from home. Though Kevin from customer service couldn't offer an earlier appointment, I believe my call records will show that I reported the issue promptly to ATT. I recently received a message from AT&T informing me that my GoPhone might stop working after February 20th. After visiting the store and having my ZTE Maven Z812B phone examined, both the store and customer service were unable to determine why it would stop working. Despite the 4G logo showing and my balance being valid until July 5, [redacted], the issue persists. Last November, I mistakenly sent my Discover Card monthly payment of $3,[redacted].64 to AT&T, and they processed it. I contacted AT&T to request a refund for the payment error, and they provided me with a confirmation number for the refund on December 1, [redacted]. However, the refund was not issued. I followed up in January, and on January 29, [redacted], I was given another confirmation number for the refund, but once again, no refund was received. Despite numerous hours spent speaking with representatives, I have faced challenges with being transferred multiple times and experiencing call disconnections. Since I no longer have the landline associated with the account and have relocated from the city, I am struggling to resolve this matter. I have been an AT&T customer for 25 years, utilizing their high-speed internet, wireless, and U-verse services. Last June, I purchased a new iPhone. Recently, I discovered three unauthorized charges on my bill which include Protect Advantage Insurance, Protect Advantage Support Services, and AT&T Next Up for a total of $20 per month. Despite spending nearly three hours over two days on the phone with AT&T customer service, they were unable to assist in refunding the charges.
