The issue in GetHuman-sigakis's own words
To Whom It May Concern,*I just started a wifi package with AT&T (Account *********) and have had a terrible experience and have not received working wifi services for half of my billing period. Hence, I am asking that I not be held responsible to pay my first month's wifi expenses because*I did not even have functioning wifi. I had to purchase xfinity packages for my phone and laptop, amounting to $** so that I would have wifi access during the period I was supposed to have functioning wifi from AT&T.*I have had a terrible experience*with AT&T every step of the way:**- Setting Up Account: I was oversold on a package for $***month and was told there were no cheaper alternatives for my specific area and that I would also have to pay $*** set up fee (no self installation option). After finding a cheaper option online, called in and was told that the customer service rep did not communicate the cheaper option with me.**- Self Installation Kit Delivery: I was supposed to receive a self installation*kit in the mail on October *rd, but the AT&T customer service person I spoke to did not input my address correctly and it was delivered to the wrong address. I had to go pick it up an hour away at a UPS facility. Even once I received the kit, wifi did not work.**- Installation: I had a tech call me that he was at my home and demanding I let him into the building (I was never made aware that he was coming to my building and was told that I could manually install my wifi with the self installation*kit). Given that I did not know he would be coming, I was unable to let him into the building as I was at work.* *- Scheduling a Tech: I had to wait on the line with customer support for ** hours at work, just to schedule a time for another tech to come assist in the installation. Apparently the first tech had noted that he had properly set up wfii when he came (even though it was not working) and customer service said I did not need anyone else to come help set up.**- Second Tech: Finally I was able to schedule an appoint for a tech to come on Friday, October **th. He showed me that in the notes, the original tech had written that wifi installation was complete, even though he had not done anything to set up (based on what my second tech told me. Once the second tech tech set up wifi and it was working, he tried to hang around in my apartment and flirting with me. I had to repeatedly note to him that I had work to do and that wifi was working and he should leave.**I am completely appalled by this entire experience and request that I be reimbursed for my first months bill and for the $** I had to pay to xfinity to purchase wifi because my plan was not working.*I look forward to hearing back.*Best,*Siga Kisielius*** *** ****
