When i had an account i tryed to return a phone that was useless to me that i was financing but wasn't getting good service because of my area. ... My name is Janette Davis and I'm going to start off with this complaint with AT&T I got a phone on a promotional because I have directv the promotional was for the S* once I got the phone I had problems with the phone I was getting missed calls must calls would get it cut off and I wasn't really able to use the phone to its full capacity so I call the representative numerous of times to let them know the problem with the phone in a told me being that the area that I live in the at that time one of the towers would down So I waited a few more days and I was still getting the same we actions from the phone so instead of Them telling me that I had time to bring the phone back they told me to wait in they tried to do some type of technical support with the phone and everything they tried it didn't work now by this time my time was up to return the phone but they will you tell me that until I took it upon myself to get a different phone which was the note * and I was having problems with that phone also because of the area that I live in so when I call the Representative again about the same problems and that I would like to just return the phone because I have this phone that I'm not able to use because the service of so Bed so then that's when I was told that it was past time that I couldn't return the phone so now I'm getting calls from the financial institution that the phone came from watching you to pay the full amount for the phone I contact AT&T numerous of times to tell them that I still have the phone it's still brand new still have all the pieces and that I'm not going to pay for this phone that I couldn't even use I feel instead of them trying to make a quota with the promotional instead it in telling me they were gonna fix the phone or they can't fix it they should have said you have a certain amount of time to return the phone but that was never said until after the fact so I'm writing today because I need this result and I feel that they should have been more professional with this situation and I really appreciate if I could get some type of feedback or what the next step should be because Like I said I still have the no * is still works fine it's still has always pieces in I can't do nothing with it I can't sell it which I was told from an AT&T representative to try to sell it on eBay in with the money I get from the sale to pay off the financial institute but no one's going to buy a phone that you can't get turned on in for them to tell me that that was very Unprofessional I By me making this complaint that this matter gets resolved because it's been almost a year have been going back-and-forth with AT&T so I feel I needed to take the next step thank you very much.
That they were very unprofessional by not telling me that if they couldn't fix the problem that i could send the phone before the time was up
They could either take this phone back and clear me from paying something that i cant use or sale like they told me to do i already tokd them im NOT PAYING THE FINANCIAL I institution because I feel I was told it was given fourth information so I can keep this phone if they would have told me the best time that I called and complained about the phone not working that I had time to send it back I would have and I wouldn't be in this predicament so I feel they didn't tell me this because like I said before I got this phone on promotional and I don't know why they didn't just take the phone back when I called like * or * * * days after I got the phone so the only way to resolve this again it's falling to take the phone back it still good condition is still has all the pieces the boxes that it came in the charger everything is intact because again I'm not going to pay for phone that I never got a chance to use I'm not going to pay finance charges on the phone that the never got a chance to use so the best thing for both of us is for them to take the phone back and clear my name off of this Financial payments thank you for your time
I was a good customer til this happened
I've tried everything from the time I got the phone till now we got the phone last year around February and I've been calling you people at AT&T before this even got out of hand and they refuse to take the phone back because it kept saying it was too long that I had the phone but again if they would take the phone back the seventh time that I called them instead of trying to keep me with AT&T because of their promotional this wouldn't happen again so I've tried everything else I'll call AT&T they were no help again they told me to sell the phone to eBay or on eBay which I can't telephone because the phone is locked so basically you telling me to do something illegal to get the money to pay the finance company to put everybody at AT&T in the clear but I'm not even able to even sell it on eBay because once again it still has finance charges and if anybody buy it they can't turn it on
