I bought new phones at Sam’s Club back in December. I paid off The remaining amount owed on the next plan on my phone. I also paid the upgrade fees at Sams club. I received an email telling me that I would be paying upgrade fees for each line of $** at AT&T and another weird amount on my bill. I called and spoke with somebody and they told me not to worry those charges would not be on my bill and everything was fine. I also let her know that I I didn’t want to be on a monthly payment plan for my new phones and Sam clubs said that I had to be. The woman told me no problem she would take care of it, and she did. She told me there were no other fees on my bill and there was no upgrade fees on my bill and not to worry if there were to call back and they would be taken off. Today I paid a bill online and saw that the fees were on there. I called and spoke with a customer service representative and she told me that I did not pay the bill and I owe it to them. I said no I did pay it and the woman I spoke to before said it should be in the notes from the last time I called and she said I would not have to pay these fees because they were already paid at Sam’s Club. I was told that I paid Sam’s Club the fees but no fees were paid to AT&T and I still owe AT&T the $**, $** for each line. I said you’re seriously going to charge me again for something I already paid? The woman told me it’s not AT&T charging me double it Sam’s Club. I don’t care who the issue was with, when I called the first time and I was told I didn’t have to pay them and there would be no worries, it should’ve been handled then. This is a bit ridiculous. I know it’s $** but I’ve already paid it once. And I’ve been offered lower prices from other phone companies and I just didn’t go with them because I’ve been with AT&T forever. But I’m thinking maybe now it’s time to switch. AT&T seems to be all about the money and not about the customer service. Thanks for your time...Amy McNea
