I just wanted to right regarding a customer service agent. I called and was very clear in what I needed to do and that I was calling on behalf of somebody who was sitting with me. I gave the correct number of the account I wanted to transfer ***-***-****. The agent instead of verifying what I actually said just assumed that I was calling about the number that I was talking on. When it came time to ask for a passcode I gave him the passcode of my mother’s account, I was very patient and kind he was incredibly rude and demeaning and kept insisting that my name was on the account. He went so far as to insist that I didn’t understand and that my name was on the account which of course was impossible being that it was my mothers.In the end he gave a lukewarm apology once I repeated what I wanted to do multiple times. **I have worked in call centers, I have worked in customer service and I understand that when situations are not black and white it is best to give clear and concise instructions which is what I did. The only reason we are not switching from AT&T after this experience is because I know that the majority of your call-center personnel are really fabulous.
