The issue in GetHuman1648501's own words
My friend purchased a new phone so he gave me his old iphone * plus. It is NOT stolen and there are no insurance claims on it. I put my SIM card in it and it says "this device is blocked from network use". He already went to an AT&T store and unblocked the phone but when I put my SIM card in, it still says the same thing. I put a friends SIM in that iphone * that was unblocked and it works great, so I'm assuming the device is no longer blocked, it's just when I put My SIM in, that it says blocked. Also if I put My SIM in my friends phone it will also say their device is blocked. How is this possible and can I just get a new SIM?
GetHuman1648501 did not yet indicate what AT&T should do to make this right.
