Help with my AT&T issue

I purchased a smartphone and a $** service card I activated the phone I applied the card everything was fine well when I realize the $** card did not contain the ability to use hotspot which I would needed more than anything else I switched my plan to the $** plan thinking that it would just carry it over well my phone stopped working completely for * days I had problems constantly on the phone with customer service nobody being able to help me or just to having to hang up cuz my hold time was too long I finally got help I was correct it did stop working because I switched plans the customer service representative was very kind he did everything you were supposed to do I'm just upset with his superiors I guess because now they're telling me since I switch to the $** plan that I have to buy another $** card because when I switched it. It voided out the $** I don't understand if I just paid $** for a card why can it not just be transferred over to the new plan the $** one that I really need because I need the hotspot you guys can tell in your computers that I just bought $** worth I'm not going to just throw that away oh well I didn't get something right it's not work that way I paid $** for a service that I'm entitled to I don't think it's right for you to only cover * to $** on the $** plan that I really need if I hadn't been misinformed the store about it working for Hotspot we wouldn't have this problem anyway and I would like to resolve this issue by simply just make my phone work with the $** plan I don't care about the $** amount that money I need my phone to work immediately it's regarding my employment this is two days I've been without a phone and you guys can't just activate my $** account and you take ** extra I did not get $** worth of phone out of that please resolve this issue or I'm going to return the phone and recommend that nobody uses AT&T prepaid or read the fine print or maybe you guys should put a notice by when you change your plan and will cancel out your current card
