My Travel Agency Center For Travel, in Stuart Fl has been an ATT customer (phone & internet) for the ** years we are open. We lost or lease and are moving. We received or new lease July **. I immediately called for the change of service. (A) for the internet, (B) for telephone.*The telephone rep took two hours to execute my change and set an appt.. I was told Wed. Aug. * between *AM and **AM.*We then set things in motion to move on Aug. * (TODAY). We depend on phones for customer business contacting us. We had one week to paint, new carpet, prewire for phone and internet, and schedule movers. OBJECT being out of phone service for a few hours. Today (Wed.) the movers showed up, my contract service to move my brand new NEC phone system ATT sold me to "get the best rate" in April, showed up at *:** to move the system, the Internet installer showed up promptly at *AM and by *:**AM we had internet. **:** no phone installer. I called and finally got a nice rep. who researched and told me installation was scheduled from **AM to *PM - OK **:** I again called as no phone installer.*After half hour or so he informed me that "the order for Aug * was scheduled for **AM to *PM AUGUST *. HOW does one schedule for a day after the order? I STATED I expected service today or *AM Thurs. The rep was very nice would contact others to see what could do. Too late in day to get someone out as they has orders for day. WHERE is SERVICE when ATT ***** up? I was get a call back if could get service at *AM Thursday - It is now *:**PM Wed. and no call. We have LOST one, maybe one and half days of customers not being able to contacting us - it's not lost business, it is customers contacting to arrange final payments or emergency ticketing. We are a customer service business. The problem goes back to the customer service rep. "we record for training" Go back and listen to your tapes and figure out when my problem broke down - how do you schedule a date for the next day!
