GetHuman842699's customer service issue with AT&T from July 2018
Help with my AT&T issue
The issue in GetHuman842699's own words
This summer I had to take a sabbatical due to stress and medical issues. Given amount of travel I needed to switch to an unlimited plan. I was told one months bill would go down a little and the next up a little. One month I had a bill of $*** followed by $*** the following month, significantly higher than expected. This upset my treasure on what was going on. I contacted customer service to understand as the second bill was quite high and averaged out over two months higher that normal. They said the extra charges would be dropped and would be applied to account in a few days. The issue was rejected, but ATT did not contact me about such. I called back the day after the posted due date. The matter was not filed correctly, and I again had to go through the whole ordeal... At the start of my sabbatical... Issue was said to be finished by June **th, same day as automatic withdrawal. I had to put in for my acco By reimbursement with an explanation to my not so happy treasure. $*** gets withdrawn from my account and I saw $*** remaining. Issue was rejected again, and again ATT did not contact me. So on Monday July * I call in a third time to find out the second call was also not filed correctly. In the course of * hour and ** minutes I had to deal with * people and each the issue was starting over again. **A friend highly suggested switching to T-Mobile. I said no as I didn’t need the added stress of switching companies when the purpose of my sabbatical was rest & destressing on advice from my doctor. Also, I’ve been loyal to ATT Since **** and they’ve always been good to me. And this happens. **Sepetember I’m seriously considering switching carriers.
