GetHuman-diogenes's customer service issue with AT&T from June 2018
Help with my AT&T issue
The issue in GetHuman-diogenes's own words
To: AT&T*From: Richard E. Dahm*Re: (***) ***-*****Date: June **, *****Status: Urgent**On June *, ****, I was making a phone call to the Bank of America to pay my bill when, as I just discovered, an AT&T system inserted itself into this contact without my knowledge and captured a $***.** payment for itself. I had every reason to believe I was paying the Bank of America. Both Bank of America (to whom I had to pay a late fee) and my bank account document this matter.**There is absolutely no reason I would knowingly authorize such a large payment to AT&T! Nor can I imagine what such a sum would represent. Your records show my very light cell phone usage.**You may keep and credit a $**.** payment from this sum. Please refund $***.** immediately. AT&T should also credit to me minutes consumed by this June *, **** call and not seek to answer this complaint by calling my cell phone number and consuming my call time. *If this is an intentional practice of AT&T, it is an unsavory one. Moreover, AT&T does not have my authorization to harvest any form or amount of automatic payment from my bank accounts. *The only AT&T plan to which I subscribe is the twenty-five cents per minute plan. I have neither subscribed to, and am interested in, any other.**Copies:***Indiana Attorney General***Allen County Better Business Bureau
