I called on **********. I paid balance on phone and asked for my device to be unlocked. I explained that I only have one bar at home and have run into not having a phone when the weather knocks out my land line. woman was pleasant. Said she would mention problem of only one bar in my area. She said device would be release by **:** pm the next day. *I am furious, I went to have the new Sim card put in and drove ** minutes each way for this. The device was never unlocked. Wasted trip. Spectrum had also notified you that it was not unlocked. I got home and was calling to resolve this when an email popped up that the device was unlocked. *Very angry, had to make another trip to have Sim card installed. *One, I wasted my whole morning with something that was not necessary and two, I was needlessly exposed to more people. Yes, I am covid compliant. *This was a fail on your part. Very very disappointed, not the service I had been promised and if I am not mistaken. Verizon was sued for this very same matter. They release within ** hours.
GetHuman-niksam did not yet indicate what AT&T Wireless should do to make this right.

Make a stink with company holding you hostage. Verizon had a huge lawsuit because of this. Why do I think it needs to happen with A T and T?? *Why did it take * whole days to release the lock on my device, I owed them nothing!!
