COMPLAINT IN RE: A T & T NO RECEPTION ON MY CELL PHONE*Complainant: Laina Tolson A T& T cell No. *** ***-******I moved to a condominium in downtown Boulder at **** **th Street. I was suddenly faced with a cardiac emergency and tried to use my A T&T cell phone to call my cardiologist’s office at Boulder Heart ( located at Boulder Community Hospital). **No one at Boulder Heart could hear what I was saying because my voice cut out on every other word. I tried re-callinh multiple times buyt no one could make out what I was saying because my voice kept cutting out.* I called Walgreen’s Pharmacy to get an emergency request for my prescription refill BYSTOLIC. Abrupt discontinuance of BYSTOLIC for older cardiac patients results In cardiac arrest.*No one at Walgreen’s Pharmacy could make out what I was saying because my voice cut out and then the reception was so totally zero-- they hung up on me. Walgreen’s Pharmacy does not have an email address for the public.*I tried to call Z Trip taxi to get to the ER-- but they couldn’t hear me. *I emailed my daughter and fortunately she could come and get me-- but she had to do an emergency request to leave her job.**This situation was a medical emergency-- and because A T & T has such non existent service in my area -- it could have cost me my life.*A T & T service did not perform-- thus I demand my $**.** payment I just made for my A T & T service. **A T & T never told me they didn’t have good reception in the downtown Boulder area. I found out that A T &T doesn’t have enough “towers” and the only way to get cell phone reception is through T Mobile.**So I went to T Mobile and they said they could use my A T & T phone and port my number over to my T Mobile Service.**BUT MY A T &T DEVICE WAS LOCKED So the T Mobile Rep called A T & T to get it unlocked. BUT THE A T & T REP SAID SHE WOULDN’T UNLOCK IT SINCE IT WAS LESS THAN * MONTHS OLD AND SHE WOULD HAVE TO PUT IN A REQUEST TO UNLOCK THE PHONE WHICH COULD TAKE * DAYS !!!!!!!**THAT WOULD HAVE ENTAILED ANOTHER TRIP TO T MOBILE FOR ME TO HAVE THEM SET UP SERVICE WITH MY a t & t PHONE. I COULD NOT RISK NOT HAVING A PHONE AGAIN.**SO I HAD TO BUY T MOBILE’S $*** PHONE AND START SERVICE .*A T & T never told me my cell phone device was locked and if I purchased another one -- which I did a few months ago because my first A T & T phone didn’t work-- that they would not unlock my phone immediately as the Rep said because “it was less than * months old” so I could use it at another company. **Thus, I demand the cost of my A T & T phone back because A T & T service could not perform and give me any reception in my area.**Laina Tolson*Telephone No. *** ***-*****November **, ****
