I have AT&T U-Verse service for my home phone and television. On Nov. *th **** I went on-line and chatted with a representative to request an additional receiver for an additional TV. After being transferred from Tech support to Billing, the agent said they would give me a promotional deal and upgrade me from U*** to U***, and lower my monthly bill to $*** * taxes. He said that price would be good for a complete ** months, but I had to make a ** month commitment. I accepted the offer only to see my bill go up after only ** months. I no longer have two different $** promotions causing my bill to go up $**. One was a $** promo for my receiver and the other is a $** promo on my home phone. **I have chat logs containing the agents promise the prices "would be good for a complete ** months". November **th and **th, **** I called (***) ***-****. On both occasions they said they were sorry I was miss-led. On the **th I also spoke with a supervisor who said there was nothing they could do as there currently are no discounts available. They don't seem to understand that I am not asking for a new promotional discount. Rather, I am asking them to honor the commitment they made last year.
