The final bill in the amount of $***.** I’m challenging the billing dates from previous account that was billed with AT&T and DIRECTV UNIVERSAL account which AT&T doesn’t have this account, it was credited back to me back when I switch to in January **** (started a regular AT&T account in October ****) I spoke with several representatives and also went to my local AT&T store in Defuniak Springs, Florida. But I wasn’t able ever to get clear explanations of billing cycle and they would always state that because of being a new account it will take * billing cycle to correct itself* the average of the AT&T bill before I switched to the AT&T and DIRECTV UNIVERSAL program was $***.** and my DIRECTV bill was about $***.** (see attached bills) so I budgeted $***.** a month the first billing in January **** was about $***.**, February $***.** and March $***.**. I had to break up the payments but I called several times in January, February, March **** they said it would take the * billing cycle to correct itself but after * bills from January to March the bills were just getting higher and higher* made numerous calls but no one could explain why the billing cycle dates was being billed ********** to **********, ********** to ********** bills being such large bills. I final went into the AT&T store and manager he was very understand and did a great job but was like me that the bills were being doubled bill we called the AT&T and DIRECTV UNIVERSAL *****-***-**** on April **, **** the representatives Thomas and Lady Supervisor could not explain the billing and stated that they were going to refund me $***.** because of being over billed* know keep in mind I’m a new customer of AT&T this was not a pleasant dealing with customer service that could not explain the billing. Because of all the confusion about the billing I canceled the AT&T and DIRECTV UNIVERSAL program and went to regular AT&T bill and canceled my DIRECTV all together. So I knew I would receive a final bill from AT&T and DIRECTV but not from AT&T and DIRECTV UNIVERSAL account. The final bill for $***.** isn’t correct because that included the $***.** refund amount which the AT&T representative stated that it was not billed correctly that was a refund for billing from January to April billing double billed dates.
GetHuman1039898 did not yet indicate what AT&T U-Verse should do to make this right.
