The issue in GetHuman-mstiver's own words
new customer ... I was going to be a new customer to ATT. I had an appointment that I had to wait over a week for, scheduled for June *nd between *-*. Received an email that morning that the tech would be there, then received another email stating they would need to re-schedule for June **th. Called your horrible customer service, was disconnected * times, transferred * times. No one ever apologized or could tell me why other than they are over booked, Overbooked for * weeks, how does that happen. This was the absolute worst customer service experience I have ever had and I am not even a customer yet. I would think you would try to make a good impression to save your customers. I then asked what type of credit can I get due to this huge inconvenience of waiting over * weeks to get service and was told none, because I am not paying for anything yet. I have been on the phone for over * hours trying to get this resolved. This is totally unacceptable. I would think ATT would like to know they may losing customers to Spectrum.
