The issue in GetHuman-vettesim's own words
two days ago our house phone stopped ringing and when I picked it up there was a message that it was in use. We have two add'l wireless phones in the home which are linked and do the same. There is a separate phone line in the garage which works and I have temporarily moved our base phone out there. Nothing has changed to cause this, to my knowledge. When one picks up the phone from the inside line, it does sound like it is in use, however, to our knowledge it is not. I hesitate to open up the wall mount where the base line is plugged into, not knowing what I'm doing. No other phones are plugged into phone jacks inside the home. Our AT&T modem is, of course, but that's it. Hope you can assist Everything I have in the house, phone, internet, tv is At&T.
