On November 13th, I had trouble accessing my AOL account. While trying to reinstall AOL, I received a call from someone claiming to be an AOL representative named "Daniel Cooper" at 1-[redacted]. This individual stated my account was being used in mid-western states, my IP address was compromised, and only he could resolve the issue as the Geek Squad couldn't help. Can anyone verify if "Daniel Cooper" is a legitimate AOL representative and if 1-[redacted] is a valid AOL phone number?

I need help with my AOL account password. It's my oldest account, and everything else, like Facebook, Ebay, and Paypal, is connected to it. I can't change those passwords without access to my AOL account. I currently use Hotmail as my main account, and I haven't used AOL in about a decade. I need genuine help with this, please.

One of my "friends" keeps asking for my contact information. Despite my reservations, I eventually shared it, and now my account is compromised. I'm unable to log in with the correct password since they altered my email address. The unfamiliar email added to my account prevents me from resetting it. My email is [redacted] Please assist, you can reach me at [redacted] or [redacted].

I'm having trouble accessing guce.advertising.com on Firefox. The page won't load and I keep getting an error saying the connection can't be established. This issue has occurred in the past occasionally, but today I haven't been able to access it at all no matter how many times I try. It suggests the site may be temporarily down or busy, and advises checking my computer's network connection. I've followed the instructions but still can't get through.

I'm having trouble accessing my AOL mail as when I try to log in on mail.aol.com, it redirects me to guce.advertising.com. Following Microsoft's instructions did not help, and although I managed to access my mail once by following AOL's steps, I can't do it anymore. I'm frustrated because the link persists, and despite trying different solutions like checking settings and internet security, the problem remains. I'm unable to remove it, and this is preventing me from accessing my AOL email.

When I attempt to log in to mail.aol.com, I am redirected to guce.advertising.com. Despite following the instructions from Microsoft and AOL, I continue to face this issue. Initially, I accessed my AOL mail once, but now I am unable to reach it at all. Despite my efforts to adjust settings related to internet security and following various instructions, the problem persists. AOL's response requesting how they can make things right seems futile in this frustrating cycle. Repeatedly encountering the guce.advertising.com link instead of accessing my AOL mail is exasperating. Changing the password does not resolve the issue as it reoccurs when I log in. It seems that both Microsoft and I are unable to fix this ongoing problem. It would be beneficial for AOL to find a solution.

My email screen has suddenly changed to a foreign language. While the body of the emails is still in English, everything else like 'new mail', 'old mail', 'sent mail', 'drafts', 'contacts', etc., is now in another language. I also see a different language at the top of the email screen and what seems to be a location in Germany to the top right. I haven't made any changes myself, this just happened out of the blue today. I tried looking for the language preference in the settings, but since everything is in a foreign language now, I can't find it. I read online that I should click on my settings button, but I can't locate it since nothing is in English. If you could provide specific guidance on where to find the settings button, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you for your help.

Today when I opened my AOL Gold software, the news videos did not display and instead, there was only a list of choices on the left-hand side of the screen. I attempted to sign in multiple times and even went as far as uninstalling and reinstalling AOL Gold, but I still encountered the same issue. Oddly, when I used Google or Edge browsers to access AOL, the images displayed correctly. How can I resolve this issue to have the same display on my installed AOL Gold software program?

Dear Sir or Madam, I am an attorney in Düsseldorf and I sent a business email to a law firm in Berlin at 5:21 pm. Upon reviewing the email later, I noticed that there were two attachments added that do not belong to me. They are both the text image "Vor dem Ausdrucken bitte an die Umwelt denken". I received an unfriendly call from the receiving law firm asking me to refrain from including my political views in business emails. Very annoying!! Can you please explain how AOL added such attachments to my email without my consent, without disclosing the authorship, and without my authorization to send any statements on my behalf? I kindly request clarification. Sincerely, Dr. Günter Böttger Attorney

In April [redacted], my DISCOVER card statement showed a $4.99 charge from AOL for their service, which I approved. However, there was an additional $4.99 charge for FS SYSTEMMECH that I did not authorize. I contacted customer service to cancel both services. After this, AOL restricted my email account access until May 12, [redacted]. Last night, I managed to access my email once but can't do so now. I want to resume using my AOL email account and agree to pay the $4.99 monthly service charge. I urgently request to have my AOL email account reinstated immediately.

I recently purchased a new computer and believed all my information had been transferred over. However, when I try to access AOL by typing aol.com in Google, the page disappears when I navigate away from my mail. I have been a loyal AOL customer for many years and pay $4.00 monthly for tech support. Unfortunately, I am unable to access "Help" as before or use the familiar features. My new computer runs on Windows 10, which I am not fond of but had to accept. My primary goal is to have an AOL icon on my desktop for easy access. Should I reinstall AOL on this new computer? Thank you, Nancy H. ([redacted])

After discussing my email issue with AOL tech support, the first technician resolved the problem of not being able to open my emails. However, the emails are now not in the original format. I had AOL Desktop Gold until the tech support agent deleted it from my PC while trying to reinstall it unsuccessfully. I was then referred to another technician who critiqued me for about two hours, blaming me for any issues or a slow PC. He claimed I owed $[redacted] without giving me a clear reason, just stating that I agreed to pay. I have been an AOL customer for over 50 years, but I am considering cancelling my service due to this poor experience. I have been paying extra for Desktop Gold to avoid these problems, but it seems ineffective.

I need help unblocking notifications from Aol.com. Whenever I sign in, I get a message saying I have blocked notifications from Aol.com, but I don't remember doing that. This is causing my email to not load. I have a Mac El Capitan OSX 10.11.6 and use Safari and Firefox browsers. I also have another email but prefer not to be contacted there. I have tried searching online for a solution but haven't found one. Please either unblock notifications from your end or provide me with detailed steps to unblock them for my setup. It's frustrating that the message doesn't explain how to allow notifications after saying it will.

I am reposting my issue with the update that you can now reach me by email at [redacted] as my AOL account is malfunctioning. When I log into AOL, I get a message stating that I have blocked notifications from Aol.com. I do not remember blocking these notifications. When attempting to access my emails, it continuously loads without granting me entry to my AOL account. The message also mentions a way to allow notifications but does not provide instructions. I am using Mac El Capitan OSX 10.11.6 with either Safari or Firefox browsers and also have an email at [redacted] To respond by email, please use this address. My phone number is [redacted]. Despite searching online, I have not found a clear guide on unblocking notifications from Aol.com. I would appreciate a detailed step-by-step explanation for unblocking notifications on my Mac 10.11.6 when using Safari and Firefox. It is frustrating that AOL's message prompts to allow notifications but fails to explain how to do so.

I am having trouble accessing my old AOL and AIM account because I got locked out due to incorrect password attempts. When trying to reset my password online, I kept receiving an error message saying "unable to access account." I contacted customer service and after a frustrating half-hour call, they suggested I pay for a Premium service to reset my password. I believe it's unfair to now charge for a service that used to be free. I requested to speak with a supervisor, but was told none were available and that I would still need to pay for Premium. Despite correctly answering security questions to prove ownership, I do not have a recovery email or phone number linked to the account as I signed up over a decade ago. I provided my number for a callback from a supervisor, but was given no timeline. This experience has been disappointing and I am surprised by the attempt to monetize existing users. I have reference number [redacted]0. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hello, I am experiencing difficulty accessing my old AOL and AIM account after being locked out due to multiple incorrect password attempts. Despite attempting to reset the password online, I kept receiving an error message stating "unable to access account." When I reached out via phone to the customer service number provided on the website, I spent a frustrating half hour seeking assistance to reset my password. Unfortunately, the representatives insisted that I subscribe to their Premium service to resolve the issue, which I found unjustifiable considering the service was initially free when I signed up. Refusing to pay, I requested to speak with a supervisor, but was informed that one was unavailable and that their response would be the same regarding the Premium service requirement. Despite correctly answering the security question to verify my ownership of the account, I explained that I did not have a recovery email or phone number associated due to signing up over 13 years ago when these options were not available. I provided my contact information for a supervisor to call me back, although no timeframe was given for the callback. The level of customer service received is disappointing, and I am surprised by their attempt to generate revenue from loyal users. I have a reference number - [redacted]0. Any assistance offered would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I am missing around [redacted] crucial emails from my account. These emails were present two weeks ago but have disappeared since then. I did not delete them. These emails are from three or four specific contacts related to a company engaged in a lawsuit. I suspect my account was compromised, and the emails were taken. I urgently need to retrieve these essential emails. Thank you. Roger W.

I have an unwanted email account on my smartphone, which only a few people know about. I prefer to access my primary email account only on my PC and want it easily accessible without having to log in every time. Unfortunately, I am unable to access my primary email from my phone currently. I contacted Consumer Cellular, and they mentioned they couldn't assist with AOL issues. I would appreciate any guidance or suggestions. Thank you for your assistance.
