During a shopping trip to Aldi in Streamwood, IL, my family encountered a concerning situation. While browsing groceries with my husband and two kids, I momentarily let go of my son's cart to reach for yogurt. A young man abruptly approached the cart, causing me to react quickly. Although I confronted him and reclaimed the cart, his hasty departure left me uneasy. While I did not alert the manager at the time, I considered reaching out to the store or the police department later. The incident felt unsettling, and I wanted to share my experience for awareness. -Susan Obman

Hello, I am Kori-beth, I am looking into purchasing LiveGFree pizza sandwiches. The new Aldi store in West Branch, Mi had them during the grand opening but hasn't restocked them since. I asked an associate about it, and they suggested I check another store an hour away. It would be helpful to have store contact numbers to avoid unnecessary trips. It's challenging to find gluten-free foods that taste good, and I was thrilled to discover the pizza sandwiches. I hope the West Branch Aldi store restocks them or provides a way to check availability at other locations to avoid long drives. Thank you.

I follow a ketogenic diet and usually buy my groceries from Aldi because of their clear nutritional information. Unfortunately, Aldi recently changed their heavy whipping cream, adding carrageenan and increasing the carb content, making it less suitable for those on a keto diet. The new packaging also eliminated the plastic pour spout, which was inconvenient. As someone who relies on HWC, it's disappointing to see these changes. I urge Aldi to return to the previous recipe and packaging for customers concerned about their health. Additionally, while Aldi offers gluten-free options, I recommend they expand their selection to include more health-conscious products like those sweetened with natural alternatives like Stevia, Erythritol, Xylitol, and monk fruit. This would benefit not only those with gluten intolerance but also diabetics looking for healthier food options. Aldi’s affordable prices make it a preferred shopping destination, so providing a wider range of health-conscious products would be a great alternative to higher-priced stores like Sprouts.

To Aldi stores, I am writing to raise concerns about the environmental impact of the plastic bags provided in your stores, particularly the ones on the rolls for fruit and vegetables. Here are some important facts to consider: 1. The average use of a plastic bag is only 12 minutes. 2. Globally, 1 million plastic bags are used every minute, accounting for [redacted] million barrels of oil annually. 3. More than 44% of sea birds have either ingested or been entangled by plastic. 4. Each year, over [redacted],[redacted] marine mammals and 1 million sea birds die due to plastic ingestion or entanglement. 5. Only 3% of plastic bags used in Australia are recycled. While I appreciate Aldi's decision not to offer plastic bags at the checkout, the availability of plastic bags on rolls for loose produce seems contradictory. I urge you to eliminate plastic bags in the fruit and vegetable section. Initially, there may be customer pushback, but it will ultimately promote the use of reusable bags. Your actions can drive change and raise awareness about the importance of bringing reusable bags. For the sake of the environment, communities, and future generations, please consider discontinuing plastic bags for fruit and vegetables at Aldi stores. I await your response eagerly. Warm regards, E.L.

I recently received another Parking Charge Notice from Parking Eye, requesting a payment of £70 or £40 if paid promptly. This is the third or fourth notice we have received while shopping at Aldi monthly. On January 25th, I spent around £[redacted] for my husband, two boys, and myself. My husband, who is 82, has mobility issues and recently underwent a procedure at Hereford Hospital. When he accompanies me to shop, it takes us over an hour and a half as we fill two trolleys. I have tried to email Parking Eye but the email is not going through, even though I used the correct address. I am not willing to call the provided number just to pay the charge as we never leave the premises. I have contacted Parking Eye multiple times before to explain our situation, but I continue to receive these notices. I am willing to send photocopies of the receipts to prove our shopping time. I hope this issue can be resolved promptly to avoid any further inconvenience from Parking Eye. Thank you for your attention to this matter. - Margaret

While at store #17, I waited in line for 10 minutes before being redirected to another lane. The cashier, ConnieS, lacked basic customer service skills. She didn't greet me or thank me, and when handling my items, she was rough and unprofessional. After making me wait for my change, she carelessly threw my belongings into a random cart without asking. When I mentioned not needing the cart, she was dismissive. Moreover, she damaged one of my items, resulting in its disposal. I frequent this store and have never encountered such rudeness from any other staff. I suggest reviewing ConnieS's suitability for customer-facing roles to avoid such incidents in the future.

Yesterday, I received an email from Instacart stating I have a $20 credit for my delivery order, valid until February 27, [redacted]. However, when I entered the code HILOGAN, it showed as expired, even though the email clearly states it's valid until February 27th. The email provided below confirms this information. I am confused as to why the code is deemed expired when it should still be valid according to the email instructions. I have an order waiting in my cart. Thank you, Cloyee Smith from CARROLLTON. [redacted]. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I recently bought Simply Nature Green Pea Crisps and suspect they may have caused me to feel unwell. Yesterday, after having a muffin and coffee for breakfast, I consumed a few of these crisps as my only other food. Around noon, I began feeling very nauseous with severe stomach cramps. I spent most of the night taking antacids and liquid stomach medication. This morning at 7:00 AM, I experienced intense diarrhea with a green and black appearance, which worried me in connection to the crisps. Although I cannot confirm it, I suspect the crisps might be the cause. I had a very swollen stomach and felt quite uncomfortable. There doesn't seem to be a lot number on them, but the package states "best if used by 05/13/[redacted]" followed by "00 21 18:06."

I have been a customer of this store since its opening, and I have always enjoyed the fresh fruits and vegetables. However, today on Saturday, March 9th, while doing my shopping, I witnessed an incident with a lady dressed in grey who was rude to a fellow customer. She was abrasive while the other customer was trying to reach for strawberries. I stepped in to assist by giving the lady the strawberries she wanted. Later, when I tried to get blueberries for myself, there were none left, and I noticed the same lady in grey restocking the shelf. As I picked up a box, she rudely told me not to take anything from her load. Then, realizing the shelf was empty, she said it was okay. I left with a negative impression of her behavior. At the register, I asked to speak to a manager. When the lady in grey showed up as the manager, I was hesitant to address the issue with her as she was the one involved in the incident.

I reside in Meeker County, Minnesota, approximately 6 miles from the Aldi store in Hutchinson, Minnesota. I have noticed that the Aldi Ad has not been included in our local paper recently. The community here relies on this advertisement to plan our shopping trips. It is disheartening not to find the Aldi flyer in the Meeker County paper, especially considering many of us shop at the Hutchinson store. Additionally, I am a subscriber to the Hutchinson Leader, but the Aldi ad is absent there as well, which I find quite baffling. We truly appreciate Aldi and hope that the ad can be consistently featured in our local publications. Thank you for considering this matter, and please let me know if further clarification is needed.

I had a disappointing experience at the Hackensack, New Jersey store. On the second day of its opening, I encountered a rude and condescending cashier who expected customers to bring their own bags or buy one. This negative encounter left me with a bad impression during the grand opening. Despite wanting to give the store another chance, my recent visit only confirmed my initial disappointment. With long lines and only one register open, the lack of customer service was evident. When I approached what I thought was an open register, the staff member did not address the issue of the long wait. Frustrated, I decided to leave my shopping and exit the store. This experience solidified my decision to not return to Aldi, as I had hoped for a welcoming environment like the one I usually enjoy at Trader Joe's.

The Aldi store in Penn Hills seems to have an issue with someone constantly buying all the Chocuer peanut butter cups, leaving none for other customers. This has been happening for months, causing frustration as other shoppers are unable to purchase any. Implementing a purchase limit per day could help prevent one person from buying out the entire stock, ensuring fairness for all customers who want to buy some. It's important that the store addresses this concern to avoid losing customers who might choose to shop elsewhere due to the lack of availability of this product. Making adjustments like setting a purchase limit could help resolve this situation and maintain customer satisfaction for dedicated shoppers like myself who have been loyal to Aldi for many years.

Hello, I'm looking for a Huntington Home Energy Saving Window Curtain Panel in Gray, measuring 42 inches wide by 84 inches long, for $9.99. I had previously bought 3 and now require one more. Unfortunately, the local store here does not stock the color I'm looking for. I am willing to cover shipping expenses to have it delivered to my address in Ft. Pierce, Florida [redacted]. The specific color I need is Gray, and the packaging should indicate 9/[redacted] with the code [redacted].

I had an issue with two Almond Milk cartons going bad before the due date. One carton was unopened, and the other was almost empty. I had prepared some large iced coffees with chia and flax seeds for later consumption. One of the coffees made with the expired Almond Milk made me sick a day before the expiry date, nearly causing vomiting. I had to discard the other pre-made iced coffees with the same ingredients. When I tried to return the cartons to the store on the due date, the manager gave me a hard time, claiming one carton was empty when it was nearly full. Despite my explanation, he initially refused a refund, citing the risk of getting fired. This situation was embarrassing, and I believe in the power of word of mouth to promote businesses like yours. It was a disappointing experience for a loyal customer like me.

I purchased a television in September [redacted] from my local store. Unfortunately, last night the TV suddenly stopped working. I heard a loud cracking noise from the back followed by the screen going black. After 60-90 seconds, the same noise occurred along with a vibrating sound, a quick flash of light, and eventually no sound with smoke emerging from the TV. I promptly turned it off and unplugged it. The TV has always stayed in the same spot since I set it up, and this was the first issue I encountered. Although I can't locate the original receipt, I used my Visa debit card for the purchase and can provide my bank statement as proof of purchase if necessary.

For the past three days, I have been attempting to buy the plant caddy with wheels that was advertised in Aldi's paper for $2.99. Despite visiting two stores, I was unable to locate the item. The store in Forestville even confirmed they had them in stock as per their computer, but they were nowhere to be found. After traveling to another store in Northeast DC, I encountered the same issue. The staff there was helpful but couldn't find the caddies despite showing stock in the system. I have been trying to contact Jennifer to resolve this matter, but have not been successful in reaching her. I am confused by the discrepancy between the computer stock and the actual availability of the item. I am eager to purchase the caddies at the advertised price and hope to receive support from Aldi to make this happen. Thank you, Iris.

Order number [redacted]9: I purchased two outdoor dining chairs, but they weren't suitable. When I tried to return them to my local Aldi, I was told I couldn't due to an asterisk on the product. I attempted to contact customer service multiple times, but each call lasted over 20 minutes without a resolution. After finally speaking to them on Tuesday, I was promised a call back which I have yet to receive. I just want to return the two chairs.

As a customer, my main concern is the lack of contact options with Aldi's when issues arise. Recently, I purchased 4 water bottles but was charged for blueberries instead. Trying to rectify this, I faced the challenge of reaching out as there is no available phone number, email, or address. This has happened before, and the inability to communicate with them is frustrating. The suggested email contact link does not work, and overall, it's disappointing to be overcharged and not have a reliable way to address it with the store or their headquarters. It's essential for a retailer to be reachable for customer concerns, especially when errors like these occur.

I recently purchased the Cheese Club macaroni and cheese shells. Upon opening 4 boxes, I discovered black mold on the shells and inside the boxes. I had already prepared other ingredients before finding this issue. I opened 3 more boxes to find the same problem. This experience was frustrating as it ruined my meal plans and could have made my kids and I sick. I hope to speak with a representative in the next few days. I have photos to support my claim and want to ensure this situation is addressed to prevent others from experiencing the same. I frequently shop at your stores, so this is disappointing.

I purchased a watermelon and upon slicing it, I found it to be pithy inside when I was attempting to cut it into pieces. Unfortunately, most of it was unusable, except for a small portion near the rind. I decided to discard the entire melon. When I informed the store, the employee inquired if I had brought back the watermelon or kept the receipt, but I had done neither. I had bought the melon in good faith and had not thought to keep the receipt for unsatisfactory produce. In the future, I will consider returning the defective product for the store to see. I have been a loyal Aldi customer since it opened and have never encountered this issue before. I only had to return a bag of lettuce previously, and the store promptly exchanged it and refunded my money. The employee's attitude was displeasing, and I found the customer service lacking.
