Account Number: **********Customer Since: *******I have been having problems with my alarm system for the last * months and I had a ADT technician come out to my house today. As soon as the technician saw the original BRINKS system and learned my landline phone system was ( Xfinity), he informed me that my alarm system has compatibility issues. The technician told me that he had notified ADT management about the problem, but nothing was being done. I have another year into my contract and I request to be released from my contract without penalties and refunded the recent payment of $***.** paid in April ****. **As soon as your company discovered there were issues with ADT and Brinks, I should have been notified in writing that such a problem existed. One of your representative claims that I should have told ADT if I made changes to my phone line. I have had the same phone company since I have been with Brinks*ADT. I am not aware of any changes to my landline. The technician shed some light into the problems I have been experiencing with my alarm system. **I have been a loyal customer for ** years and pay my bills in full for an entire year. So when I found out there were connection issues between ADT and Xfinity, I was horrified that I had been using a system that was unreliable and dangerous! What if I had an emergency? How can I depend on a system which may or may not work? Your company's disregard for my life, loved ones, and property is inexcusable. I called on three different occasions and spoke to three different agents asking to be released from my contract. One said he would refund me the amount requested, one made me so angry I hung up on him, and the third one said he could change out the system for $**.***month. Three different solutions, but not the answer I was looking for.**I am asking to be released from my contract because I believe your company has acted in bad faith. You have jeopardized the safety of everything that matters to me and I no longer have the confidence in your company. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau to file a complaint. I will reach out to my local news investigative unit, ***** news magazine, yelp, FCC, and to anyone who will listen to my concerns. NO ONE FROM YOUR COMPANY IS LISTENING TO ME SO I HAVE TO FIND SOMEONE WHO WILL! I know I am not the only one in this country who was unaware of the connection issues between ADT and Xfinity.***Sincerely**Eric Chin
