Vaughn Way*Aurora, CO *******Dear Sir*Madam** RE: CANCELLATION DURING **-DAY TRIAL PERIOD (ACCOUNT ********)* I do hereby wish to exercise my contract*ual right for recession of my current ADT contract. I have been trying for more than * times, and during each encounter I am given falsehoods, and told that I cannot cancel my contract EVEN when my **-day trial period is still in play.*I initially set up installation of service through Ref: *******, with an installation date of **********. I was assured at the time, that my monthly payment was going to be the advertised $**.**. However, when the installers came, they embarked on deceptive and scamming practices of saying I could not get the pricing I was promised when I made the appointment. They instead wanted to sell me, gadgets, which I insisted that I never needed. *The installer continued to misrepresent the AD, which I had on me and was making misrepresentations that the $**.** was not being offered in the area. I insisted that I either get what I was promised or we stop the installation right away.*SO, he called the main office, and came back saying that in the interim, they can offer $**.** pricing, however, I can call back in the next day or so...since it was eastern standard time…and offices were closed at that time. He further suggested that when I call, I inform the customer service representative that I wanted to downgrade to the $**.** offer. *I have been trying to downgrade to the $**.**, however, all I meet is resistance and deceitful agents. They claim that I cannot cancel during the trial period, and that my best option would be to sign up for the $**.** package. Granted, that may seem like saving, but it pales compared to what I had agreed to when I was assured and promised that this would be a service pegged at $**.**.*As a result of this deception, I would like to formally cancel or revoke my service, KNOWING THAT, ADT contract comes with a ** days’ trial period. This decision to cancel during the trial period doesn’t incur any penalty or termination fees, and I will not be billed since this request to cancel is during the ** days’ trial period. I AM STILL WITHIN MY **-DAY TRIAL PERIOD. *I WISH to attest that I am resolute on canceling, and please acknowledge receipt, as I am sure this email will indicate the date and time it was sent.*Sincerely,**William Wagabaza*May *, ****
