I have been a loyal 1&1 customer for nearly two decades. Around August this year, my credit card payments inexplicably stopped processing without my awareness. When I discovered the issue about a month and a half later, I promptly updated my credit card details on the website, presuming the problem resolved. Upon realizing it remained unresolved last week, I contacted customer service to rectify the payment matter. Shockingly, I was informed it was too late to fix, and 1&1 was moving forward with deleting all my data, terminating my domains, and potentially affecting my credit negatively. Despite my attempts to resolve the payment problem promptly, the representative insisted on proceeding with account terminations, disregarding my lengthy loyalty and referrals to your company. I am disappointed by this treatment from a company I have patronized for so many years. If my pre-paid domains are truly cancelled as mentioned, I will have to consider legal actions due to the severe impact this will have on my business. Your prompt attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Approximately a month and a half later, I updated my credit card as per the site's instructions, hoping the issue was resolved. Last week, I realized the problem persisted. When I called customer service to rectify the payment issue, I was informed it was too late, and 1&1 was proceeding with deleting my data and terminating my domains, intending to mark my credit negatively. Despite my attempts to resolve the matter, the representative conveyed that my accounts would be terminated. This treatment after two decades of patronage and numerous referrals is disheartening. I seek clarification on any further options available to rectify this situation or preserve my domains. If my pre-paid domains are truly canceled, as indicated, I will have to explore legal recourse for the detriment this will cause my business.

I am in Toronto, Canada, enjoying my vacation in Mexico. Earlier today, I sent several emails to potential students for a course I will be teaching in October. After sending about 15 emails, I received a message from 1&1 mentioning customer number: [redacted]7, contract number: [redacted]9, and reference number: AB[redacted]19. The email informed me of unusual activity in my mailbox and blocked me from sending emails until I change the password for my account "[redacted]," which I successfully did. The final line stated that the lock would be removed automatically, but it has not been lifted yet, and I am unable to send emails. I need to regain access to my account, and I am unsure of what steps to take next.
