What are the hours and when should I call?

Ubiquiti Networks operates the call center for this 408-942-3085 phone number 24 hours, 7 days. The short answer is that you should call on a Thursday. This observation and the following section are based on analysis of a sample set of 1,475 calls made in the last 90 days using our free, web-based phone (see above).
An important note: busy times vs hold times vs best time to call
When we refer to busy or less busy times, we are talking about the volume of calls. The busiest times are when the most people are calling this Ubiquiti Networks phone number (least busy times have fewer people calling). This high call volume does not necessarily mean that you will have a long hold time when you call. Companies like Ubiquiti Networks staff their call centers differently based on the time of day and day of the week, so you may experience a shorter wait on hold at the busiest of times. When we refer to the best time to call, we are referring to the optimal combination of lower call volume and shorter wait times.
The least busy time to call
The least busy day to call Ubiquiti Networks is Thursday. The most busy day to call is Friday. Again, this is based on a sample of 1,475 calls made with our AI-powered, web-based phone in the last 90 days.
The shortest wait on hold
We measured the shortest hold times to be on Monday. The longest wait in the queue on average occurs on Tuesday.
The best time to call
In summation, the best day to call Ubiquiti Networks is Thursday. This is not the day with the shortest wait on hold in the phone system, but we still recommend it for its ideal combination of low call volume and short hold times. Plus we believe that Ubiquiti Networks staffs the call center well on Thursday.

My Experience Calling 408-942-3085

Aug 28, 2023

Calling Ubiquiti Network was a very challenging experience. I am used to being able to call company's help lines so that I can talk to a human. Sometimes you have problems that require the input of a real person who can listen to your concerns and respond in real-time. However, it seems that Ubiquiti Network does everything that it can to avoid live agent support. I was unable to get my issue resolved and I expect that other people will struggle as well.

In fact, I tried calling them at different times during the day just in case I was calling during an off time when the phone was not manned. However, after calling in the morning and then in the evening and the afternoon the next day, it was clear that there's simply no phone support for this company. Every single option I tried in their phone directory led to a dead end. By the end of trialing different routes, I was pretty confident that I wasn't going to get an answer.

When you call them a recorded message says "Welcome to the UI of the future," then you're given a directory list. It says to "press one for product sales", "press two for technical information and support", "press for investor information", "press four for security issues", and there were a few more options but they were highly technical. I didn't bother to keep listening because clearly, I didn't need any of those options. At the end, it told me to press seven for all other inquiries. I tried that option first, but it prompted me to submit a form online or press zero to return to the previous menu.

I went back to the previous menu and tried again by opting for technical support. However, it told me to go online and open a ticket or try to get help from the community forums. It then added that they don't accept inbound calls and I had to press zero again to get back to the menu.

This same cycle essentially persisted regardless of what option I chose. It was soon clear that despite having a customer service line, I wasn't going to be able to talk to anyone. I even tried the hack where you press 0 to skip and talk to an agent, but it didn't do anything. All in all, it was very inconvenient to get stuck in the endless cycle of a call to Ubiquiti Networks.

Technical support email address
Corresponding with a customer service department by email may not be your first choice, especially if your issue is urgent or time-sensitive. But email is a nearly ubiquitous form of communication, and Ubiquiti Networks will reply our your email.
Ubiquiti Networks's website

Online customer service support
As a last, sometimes only, resort- Ubiquiti Networks customer service can be accessed through their website.
