What are the hours and when should I call?

Quicken operates the call center for this 888-311-7276 phone number 24 hours, 7 days. The short answer is that you should call on a Wednesday. This observation and the following section are based on analysis of a sample set of 2,097 calls made in the last 90 days using our free, web-based phone (see above).
An important note: busy times vs hold times vs best time to call
When we refer to busy or less busy times, we are talking about the volume of calls. The busiest times are when the most people are calling this Quicken phone number (least busy times have fewer people calling). This high call volume does not necessarily mean that you will have a long hold time when you call. Companies like Quicken staff their call centers differently based on the time of day and day of the week, so you may experience a shorter wait on hold at the busiest of times. When we refer to the best time to call, we are referring to the optimal combination of lower call volume and shorter wait times.
The least busy time to call
The least busy day to call Quicken is Wednesday. The most busy day to call is Thursday. Again, this is based on a sample of 2,097 calls made with our AI-powered, web-based phone in the last 90 days.
The shortest wait on hold
We measured the shortest hold times to be on Wednesday. The longest wait in the queue on average occurs on Friday.
The best time to call
In summation, the best day to call Quicken is Wednesday. In this case, it's a no-brainer. Wednesday is not only the least busy day for calling this Quicken number, but it is also the day with the shortest hold times.

My Experience Calling 888-311-7276

Calling Quicken's customer service line was surprisingly easy. At first, I was nervous, because they are a well-known personal finance company, and there are probably hundreds of questions that people could have about the software. That meant that I envisioned thousands of people calling. I really didn't have time for a long phone call, but decided to take my chances and see what would happen. I figured if it took more than 15 minutes I would have to call back later when I had more time, but I was very pleasantly surprised.

As mentioned, I imagine most people call because of issues with the software, but I was calling because I wanted to get a few answers before I invested in the software. I have very particular financial needs, and I feel better talking to an actual person before making an investment. Since Quicken is digital software, however, I was worried that I would not be able to connect to a person. The trend these days seems to be that digital companies instead refer you to online forums or chats and I did not want that to happen. Luckily, it did not.

When I first called the number, I was thanked for calling Quicken by an automated message system. It then said, "For sales, orders, or subscription questions, press 1. For installation, conversion, or password and log-in issues, press 2. For technical support, press 3." I took a second to think about which would be the best choice since I had not yet purchased the product, and decided to go with option 1. I figured the sales department would be the best equipped to answer my question.

The next directory told me that for questions about a refund, subscriptions, or auto-renew, press 1. It then said, otherwise, press 2. I didn't own the product yet, so I pressed 2. The same automated process then told me that the call may be recorded for coaching or training purposes. There was a brief pause, and then a customer agent named Alex picked up. I was in shock that it took me less than a few minutes to be connected with an agent. The agent had a slight accent, but I could understand him clearly and within just a few minutes I was able to get answers to my questions and get off the phone.

If all customer service phone calls were this easy I would call everyone before purchasing their programs.

Online customer service support
As a last, sometimes only, resort- Quicken customer service can be accessed through their website. This can entail digging through help articles before finding a form and "being allowed" to submit a problem to their team, and rarely leads to a real-time conversation, which is why GetHuman does not recommend this unless it's the only way.
