What are the hours and when should I call?

Panasonic operates the call center for this 800-211-7262 phone number 24 hours, 7 days. The short answer is that you should call on a Tuesday. This observation and the following section are based on analysis of a sample set of 299 calls made in the last 90 days using our free, web-based phone (see above).
An important note: busy times vs hold times vs best time to call
When we refer to busy or less busy times, we are talking about the volume of calls. The busiest times are when the most people are calling this Panasonic phone number (least busy times have fewer people calling). This high call volume does not necessarily mean that you will have a long hold time when you call. Companies like Panasonic staff their call centers differently based on the time of day and day of the week, so you may experience a shorter wait on hold at the busiest of times. When we refer to the best time to call, we are referring to the optimal combination of lower call volume and shorter wait times.
The least busy time to call
The least busy day to call Panasonic is Sunday. The most busy day to call is Monday, which averages 408% more phone calls by comparison. Again, this is based on a sample of 299 calls made with our AI-powered, web-based phone in the last 90 days.

My Experience Calling 800-211-7262

Dec 8, 2023

If you need help with a Panasonic product, there doesn't seem to be a great way to talk to a live agent. Despite the fact that Panasonic lists ways to talk to a customer agent, along with call center hours, there isn't a clear way to actually reach a person during those open hours. I'm frustrated that I spent a couple of days attempting to talk to someone and had no luck.

I have a Panasonic TV, and the screen seems to get fuzzy for no reason sometimes. It's almost as if the bulbs are starting to die out. I know that newer TVs don't have bulbs, but that's what it looks like. The TV is less than a year old and whatever is going on should be something under the manufacturer's warranty. It's too old to take it back to the retailer, but it's certainly too new to be having this type of issue.

Panasonic makes a lot of products, from TVs to microwaves to video recorder to shavers to other appliances. So, it seems reasonable to expect the company to have a strong customer service department that can answer complaints. Unfortunately, I'm here to tell you it doesn't at all.

First of all, Panasonic's 800-211-7262 phone number is never active. Every time I called I got an automated message saying, "Thank you for calling Panasonic. Our call center is currently closed, but we have an array of self-service options." The bottom line is that I didn't need any of the self-service options; I wanted to talk to someone about my TV. I tried calling several times before I realized the call center seemed never to be open. Sure enough, when I went on the company's website, it listed the call center as having hours from 10 am - 5 pm, so it should have been open. I'm convinced that the company doesn't really have a call center, just the self-service options so Panasonic doesn't have to deal with customers.

On the website, it also says I can chat with someone, and if needed, they will transfer me to a live person. I tried that, but the chat is not actually a real-person chat, either. It's a series of automated responses that didn't help me get connected to a live agent. I kept requesting customer service, and it didn't work at all. I've spent a lot of time calling this line and attempting to use the chat, and I'm no closer to getting any answers about my TV than I was when I first started.

More Ways to Contact Panasonic Customer Service

There are of course other ways to contact Panasonic customer service besides the phone. Below we list the best ones, by medium.
Live Chat
If phone-based customer service is not available, or the wait times are long, many people prefer chat as a next-best option. Some even prefer it to calling on the phone. Luckily, Panasonic provides this option.
Email
Corresponding with a customer service department by email may not be your first choice, especially if your issue is urgent or time-sensitive. But email is a nearly ubiquitous form of communication, and Panasonic will reply our your email.
Panasonic's website
As a last, sometimes only, resort- Panasonic customer service can be accessed through their website. This can entail digging through help articles before finding a form and "being allowed" to submit a problem to their team, and rarely leads to a real-time conversation, which is why GetHuman does not recommend this unless it's the only way.
