An important note: busy times vs hold times vs best time to call
When we refer to busy or less busy times, we are talking about the volume of calls. The busiest times are when the most people are calling this Boost Mobile phone number (least busy times have fewer people calling). This high call volume does not necessarily mean that you will have a long hold time when you call. Companies like Boost Mobile staff their call centers differently based on the time of day and day of the week, so you may experience a shorter wait on hold at the busiest of times. When we refer to the best time to call, we are referring to the optimal combination of lower call volume and shorter wait times.
The least busy time to call
The least busy day to call Boost Mobile is Sunday. The most busy day to call is Thursday, which averages 74% more phone calls by comparison. Again, this is based on a sample of 942 calls made with our AI-powered, web-based phone in the last 90 days.

My Experience Calling 888-266-7848

Dec 20, 2023

When calling Boost Mobile, it's important to know the exact reason why as the automated system gives limited options for reaching the right department. I called Boost to find out about deals on mobile phones as I don't currently have a plan with the company. Upon calling, you're directed to press 5 for Spanish or wait for further instructions.

The automated system said it didn't recognize the phone number I was calling, from so I was guided to either say the word "activate" to start new service or answer yes or no as to whether I have a Boost account. I said no and was told to wait for the next available agent. Callers will then hear a message directing them to the Boost website to read the company's privacy policy.

While waiting on hold, an automated recording directed me to use the Boost app or visit the website for immediate help or payments as accessing a live agent on the phone can take time.

Within a few minutes, a rep was on the line and quickly asked for my phone number as she attempted to pull up my account. After realizing I'm not a Boost customer, since that wasn't initially asked, she proceeded to find out how I could be helped. I explained that I was considering a Boost phone plan and wanted to get information on current offers and deals. With much enthusiasm, the rep told me I definitely had to join Boost, and I prepared myself to be pressured. However, she seemed more excited that I was considering a plan and didn't coerce me into a sale.

Instead, the rep directed me to Boost's website where I could read about an online exclusive providing customers with one month of unlimited data for half of the regular cost. In addition, she recommended an in-store deal for an iPhone11 for about $50 plus tax when I switch providers. These sounded like good deals but I wanted to see the phones in person. So the rep encouraged me to visit any to any Boost Mobile store and searched her database according to my zip code to locate nearby stores. While waiting, the agent engaged in some chitchat and asked about my holiday plans, which was a nice gesture.

She discovered three stores near my home and provided the phone numbers so I could call and get more information, adding that all locations close at 8 p.m. The call ended with her continued zeal for her company and appreciation for my call. It was great to reach an agent quickly and especially to speak with a rep eager to help.

More Ways to Contact Boost Mobile Customer Service

There are of course other ways to contact Boost Mobile customer service besides the phone. Below we list the best ones, by medium.
Live Chat
If phone-based customer service is not available, or the wait times are long, many people prefer chat as a next-best option. Some even prefer it to calling on the phone. Luckily, Boost Mobile provides this option.
X (formerly Twitter)
@BoostCare - Customer Service
Customer service Twitter feed
Boost Mobile, like many companies, provides customer service on the X platform (formerly Twitter). While it rarely entails live dialogue with a customer service rep, this channel can yield rapid response times and can be a useful option if you have an X/Twitter account.
Facebook / Messenger
Some customer service teams, like that of Boost Mobile, accept inquiries through Facebook Messenger. This is a good option if you have a Facebook account, and you may even be able to converse live with an agent this way.
Boost Mobile's website
As a last, sometimes only, resort- Boost Mobile customer service can be accessed through their website. This can entail digging through help articles before finding a form and "being allowed" to submit a problem to their team, and rarely leads to a real-time conversation, which is why GetHuman does not recommend this unless it's the only way.
