This observation and the following section are based on analysis of a sample set of 51 calls made in the last 90 days using our free, web-based phone (see above).
An important note: busy times vs hold times vs best time to call
When we refer to busy or less busy times, we are talking about the volume of calls. The busiest times are when the most people are calling this Adobe Photoshop phone number (least busy times have fewer people calling). This high call volume does not necessarily mean that you will have a long hold time when you call. Companies like Adobe Photoshop staff their call centers differently based on the time of day and day of the week, so you may experience a shorter wait on hold at the busiest of times. When we refer to the best time to call, we are referring to the optimal combination of lower call volume and shorter wait times.
The least busy time to call
The least busy day to call Adobe Photoshop is Monday. The most busy day to call is Thursday, which averages 300% more phone calls by comparison. Again, this is based on a sample of 51 calls made with our AI-powered, web-based phone in the last 90 days.

Plus we believe that Adobe Photoshop staffs the call center well on Monday.

My Experience Calling 800-833-6687

Oct 6, 2023

Whether new to Adobe Photoshop or a veteran user, calling the customer service number can be a way to get personalized instructions on the program's features. Photoshop has many elements like the other Adobe programs, so there may be questions about the best way to navigate the program. I was interested in Adobe Photoshop's new artificial intelligence (AI) function, so I wanted someone to walk me through how to use it rather than wasting time with trial and error.

Calling the Adobe Photoshop customer service number means listening to a menu of options from an automated voice. Once the system answered my call and told me I had reached Adobe customer care, it assured me it would get me to the right place. Like other customer support lines, the automated voice offers numerical options to press for account information, redemption codes, and how to download and buy Photoshop. If I missed something from the list of options, I could press star to hear the information again.

The system required me to press 1 if I used a Mac or Windows or 2 for a phone or tablet. Although I called an Adobe Photoshop customer service number, I listened to a list of nine products I could get help with by pressing numbers corresponding to each one. I chose the number associated with Photoshop, and the automated voice told me to remain on the line for the next available agent. I wasn't on the line long before I heard that agents were busy and to please wait. However, shortly after that, an agent was on the line and ready to assist me.

The agent asked for my first and last name and Adobe email ID. Subscribers to Adobe Creative Cloud use that information to log in. Once I provided that information, I needed to open the program on my computer. Initially, I attempted to follow the agent's prompts on using the AI feature. Still, I was unsuccessful, so they asked me to share my screen. Once we went into screen sharing, they needed to update my Photoshop version, which took quite a while. It may have been my Internet speed, but it took several minutes to complete the updates.

Once we had an updated Photoshop version, the agent instructed me to open a photo and showed me how the AI feature worked. For example, I could add a tree to a landscape picture by typing the word "tree" in the designated space. Since I didn't have much time, I told them I would work on it and thanked them for helping me understand the function.

Overall, the Adobe Photoshop customer service experience was positive. Even though I had to listen to the typical automated list of options, I didn't feel the frustration of never speaking with a human. The agent was kind and patient and seemed willing to take all the time necessary to help me understand how to use the AI feature. With Adobe's web presence, the system may have directed me to web-based resources if I had selected other options.

If phone-based customer service is not available, or the wait times are long, many people prefer chat as a next-best option. Some even prefer it to calling on the phone. Luckily, Adobe Photoshop provides this option.
Adobe Photoshop's website
As a last, sometimes only, resort- Adobe Photoshop customer service can be accessed through their website. This can entail digging through help articles before finding a form and "being allowed" to submit a problem to their team, and rarely leads to a real-time conversation, which is why GetHuman does not recommend this unless it's the only way.
