DirecTV customers have had a lot of complaints lately, mostly around the company's cancellation policies. Specifically, many of the complaints have been about hidden fees that were not clear before canceling the service.
Other customers have complained that
DirecTV extended their contract for another 2 years after a service as simple as replacing a box. The
Better Business Bureau has logged over 20,000 complaints in the past few years for
DirecTV, and now grades them as a "No rating" company. Seems like it might be time for the satellite TV company to re-examine its transparency to customers.
