For the 300,000 of you that were lucky enough to get your hands on an iPad this past weekend, you may face problems with your iPad's WiFi connection. Apparently, many customers are experiencing problems ranging from dropped connections after 20 minutes, to no connectivity, despite other wireless devices being connected without any problems. In the past few days, over 12,000 upset customers have flocked to the
Apple website, looking for answers to the WiFi problem. As with the MacBook Air when it was launched and experienced similar problems, the problem may not be something that can be fixed with a software patch, and may in fact be a hardware problem.
Apple representatives encourage iPad owners to check their wireless router firmware to make sure everything is up to date.
