Date: Dec 4, 2009 5:03 PM Subject: Relationship No.1.5590258 in the name of MILIND G KALELKAR To: vodafonecare.mum@vodafone.com Sirs, This is to state that I have visted your Prabhadevi Store on 16th October, 2009, and duly submitted the applications for disconnection of Nos. 98336-98284 and 98336-98285 in my name. As per the advice of your executives, I have kept the said Numbers in CUSTODY and accordingly, paid custodial charges and was promised that, in turn, the Company will offer PROMO pack of "FREE 350 SMS @ Rs.35 per month" on the FIRST two numbers (i.e. 98198-08282 and 9920790001) cited hereunder, for three months As well, I have also submitted on that day the applications for disconnection of Family Plan amongst the Nos. 98198-08282, 99207-90001, 99207-90002 and aobve two numbers and the change in tariff in respect of the aforesaid three connections, to be kept alive. The copies of the said letters are enclosed for your reference. Also, I have filled up and signed the application forms as required by the said staff, which were left with your said Office. I was further required to pay the to-date liability on the Principal No.98198-08282, in my name and used by me and further the custodial charges in respect of the aforesaid two Nos. 98336-98284 and 98336-98285 in my name. The copies of the payment receipts are enclosed for your reference. I was then promised by the present staff at the said Store that the same matter will be taken up and will be xecuted from the next billing cycle i.e. 25th October, 2009. In fact, I was surprised to note the resistence offered by the said Executives, at the time, explained as under: 1. Firstly, I talked, some where on 21st Setember, 2009, to your executive on Helpline, and was duly asked to visit the nearest Vodafone Store and submit the written application in that regard. 2. Then I visited on around 22nd Sept. your Prabhadevi Store and probably met Ms. Pooja, where I was told that there should have been at least 7 days' notice for the disconnection Family Plan. Therefore, I have given up for the time. 3. Than again, I sent my person on 16th October, along with the Letter giving the list of all the above Five Nos. and option for each of them. My person was sent back by your ONE EXECUTIVE for the reason that there should be seperate letters for the Nos. to be continued and those to disconnected. 4. I had accordingly made two seperate letters (the copies as enclosed) and again sent my person on the same day (in order to comply with the period of 7 days' Notice) for the action at your end. Then, he was sent back BY THE SAME EXECUTIVE saying that I have to go since there are Forms to be personally signed by me. 5. Then, I personally visited the said Store, and filled up the forms in front of the other Executive (Mr. Ausaf). I was then told to deposit the amounts as aforesaid (the payment receipt enclosed). It was good that I was carrying cash with me, otherwise I had again to come back to collect cash for the purpose. 6. I paid the cash in respect thereof, where the said Store did not have a change of even Rs.500 Note, so as to enable me to pay Rs.100/- each towards the custodial charges on two Nos. as above. I had to get the change from the shop outside. 7. When I enquired with the said Executive whether there needs a Notice Period of 7 days or so, he denied and asked me who hasd told me this. I told the name of Ms. Pooja, who was around. She has bluntly refused to have said that during my Sept. Visit to the said Store. 8. Finally, I insisted that I should get the acknowledgements on my written letters, which were then given to me. I am suprised to note all such events, which certainly did not expect from the internationally reputed TelCo as VODAFONE, and that too when I have been your OLD customer, with not a single default in payment of bills (You may check your records). Coming to the point, I have received your Bill for the period 25-10-09 to 24-11-2009 for Rs.2231.68 with anamoly that there still exists the Family Plan of all Five Nos. as cited above. The two Nos.98336-98284 and 98336-98285 are correctly shown as in Custody. However, the tariff plan of the rest Three Nos. has either not been changed at all or changed to my disadvantage (e.g. Pack of SMS @ Rs.35 p.m. cancelled for both Nos. 98198-08282 and 99207-90001). I am therefore paying the laest Bill IN PROTEST before the due date, subject to a request to reprocess the said Bills as per my requests made on 16th Ocotober, 2009 and accepted by VODAFONE, to your Prabhadevi Store, and credit the amount(if any) to my account that may be adjusted in the next Bill. I have properly been guided yesterday by your Executive on the Help-line 111 in the matter, which I appreciate. Please note that, In the absence of any positive feed-back from you in the matter, I may either discontinue all connections or elase adopt such proper course of action as may be thought fit.
