<summary type="html" ><![CDATA[Equifax tip: This got me to a person (india), but they just told me to call one of the robot numbers again. 

The robot number spends 5 minutes talking about going to the website (which doesn't work and tells me to call the number). When it gets to where option can be input, sensitivity is WAY too high and robot repeats "sorry I didn't understand that" (when I didn't say anything) 3x before hanging up on me...only to restart the process. F*ck this company!]]></summary>

Comments from customer: I had been unable to order my free credit report online and over the phone (I was denied since they could not verify my identity for some odd reason). I called Experian and was unable to get through to a live person, but using this number I was able through to Equifax instead to get my free credit report online! Success!]]></summary>

Indian call center would only prorate my service. Amount was always changing what they would prorate. Horrible comapny who don't fully understand what you are saying.]]></summary>

The only thing the person who answered the phone could do was to sign me up for Equifax's ID Patrol service at $13.95/month. He gave me two other phone numbers, stating they were automated services, THEN I might get a realperson. THEN HE HUNG UP!]]></summary>

Comments from customer: I wanted to cancel my service because the website ALWAYS states "unavaliabe check back later" and I wanted a refund. Would not refund or cancel my service. I called 3 times and still cannot get anything I want accomplished. I will never use Equifax again. I paid over $180.00 for the past year and have never been able to view my credit score.]]></summary>

<summary type="html" ><![CDATA[Equifax tip: My score was down graded (I had OVER 800) because I opened a savings account at my local bank!!!  When the bank checked my credit, just to make sure I was who I said I was, Equifax lowered my score to UNDER 800!!! That was the ONLY "Hard Hit" on my credit score info for well over 1 year! I had been hoping to get a new car confident of meeting and exceeding any required parameters which, in truth, I still do however - that's going to put another "Hard Hit" on my score lowering it again.
Whe I called Equifax to complain about being "punished" for trying to be a good and conscientious consumer, they said that there is nothing they will do about raising it back up - it simply is what it is!!!]]></summary>
