<summary type="html" ><![CDATA[EMC Mortgage tip: Yes , the MORTGAGE company doesn't care about the 'homeowner' - they are as greedy as the next person about their 'fine print' - but when you finally get a person to YELL at - it's generally too late because you are already behind on pptaxes and they just THINK they can add it to your loan balance.   I would recommend refinancing also, at your earliest convenience! ]]></summary>

I've tried to modify the loan of my deceased mother for the past three years, This morning I was denied a modification and thaT IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT i RE-FINANCE. BUT NO ONE CONTACTED ME TO TELL ME OF THIS CHANGE IN THE ACCOUNT.The change occured in January 22, today is one month and 3 days later. Then I was told that I would speak to a supervisor, yeah right I've been told this about 12 times in the past three years and I've spoken with no one!!!!!!!!!! ]]></summary>

Comments from customer: on transfer to loan modification dept, it had me wait 2 min, then they come on and just say "sorry, we had trouble connecting you, please hang up" and they hung up on me!  Call back, go through the same entry point (even though it was a supposed "direct" number), tranferred again, asked to enter a 4 digit extension (I didnt have one). Then wait 5 minutes, someone comes on and tells me its the wrong dept (I need "emminent" loan mod dept).]]></summary>

WE ARE THE 50% OWNER OF ONE PROPERTY AND BECAUSE ONLY THE NAME OF ONE COUPLE IS INDICATED ON THE RECORDS, I, WHO MAKE THE PAYMENTS, RESOLVE ALL THE PROBLEMS AND FIX ANY ERRORS, AM UNABLE TO CONTACT AN ASSOCIATED BECAUSE THE SYSTEM DO NOT RECOGNIZE MY 4 DIGITS OF MY SS NUMBER!!!!!. IT TAKE A LOOOONG TIME TO REACH A HUMAN TO EXPLAIN THAT I HAVE ALL THE RIGHTS TO CONTACT THEM AND I HAVE TO WAIT ANOTHER LOOOONG TIME FOR THEM TO FIND ME ON RECORDS??????. AFTER THAT, WHEN I THINK THAT EVERYTHING IS UNDER CONTROL, THE COMMUNICATION IS CUT-OFF AND I AM HERE AGAIN WITHOUT SOLVING MY PROBLEM OR QUESTION. PLEASE, PLEASE, I WILL BE YOUR CUSTOMER FOR A LONG TIME SO PLEASE, CORRECT THIS ISSUE!!!!

I am now thirty days late because I was not able to make my payment on a Sunday If this was such a great mortgage company, you should be able to make payment 24/7 it only a recording! I will be sure to let all of my friends and co-workers who are looking to purchase home to skip over EMC. How would a customer know not pay on a Sunday ]]></summary>
